-0/10 would not recommend. Shelby is the best but other staff outside of maintenance are horrible. My experience living there was NOT 10/10. I was told over the phone and by the map on website that i would live on first floor come to find out i ended up on the second floor i have 3 kids under 3 imagine THAT! No empathy whatsoever! Im glad my family an i moved on for the better. I could write more than a book about this place. Overall my experience was NOT what I expected.

Entire staff goes above & beyond to please residents. Everyone here is very good at what he/she does. I hope that they are all recognized. And my hope also is that this staff remains together long term here at The Reserve. -mc

I lived here for 2.5 years. If I went based on my first 2 years, this review would be 5 stars. However, the last half year or so we lived here was a nightmare.
The units are very nice, and the amenities are excellent. Two onsite pools, a basketball court, playground, and parcel pending made living here so much better. We did have AC problems quite a bit, but maintenance always responded in a timely manner.
The only real problem we had was unfortunately a major problem. The unit above us was being leased out by an oil company and they would use the apartment for their employees to stay in while they were working. This meant many random and different men in and out all the time. It wasn’t too awful at first, but then one of the employees started staying at this unit more frequently. Our first encounter with him involved him at the back of his truck in the parking lot yelling cuss words while my daughters were outside playing. When I confronted him, he was apologetic, but it was obvious he was high on something.
Over the next few weeks this particular employee would stomp through his apartment at all hours of the night. Loud stomping. At times it sounded like he was running in place, at other times it sounded like he was doing jumping jacks. We told management, but we weren’t taken seriously. It kept getting worse. Finally, we had the courtesy officer come listen, and he made contact with the man and asked him to stop. However, it didn’t. It continued, and we had to have the courtesy officer out a number of times.
Finally, the management contacted the owner of the oil company who sent another employee to stay with the man. This other employee had the nerve to come to our apartment and confront us over calling the courtesy officer over the man. Now, we were place in an unsafe situation.
This continued over several weeks. We even asked to transfer units, but the apartment manager wanted to charge us to transfer. The only reason management took us half-way seriously is because the courtesy officer witnessed the man’s insanity, but yet, they still didn’t take it serious enough. Had the courtesy officer not witnessed what he witnessed, management would have written us off completely. They left us in an unsafe situation and I’m just not certain they cared.
Ultimately, I don’t feel like it’s right to give 1 star over that bad experience while everything else was overwhelmingly positive. However, it was bad enough that I can’t leave a 5 star review like I would really want to.

We recently moved to Bossier City. We looked at a lot of apartments. The Reserve won us over quickly online and then we met Payton. She sold us on it. The apartment is absolutely the best I have ever lived in. The amenities are awesome. They have community events. The staff sealed the deal. Payton was the sweetest young woman and the rest of the ladies in the office rock. They are always ready with a smile and an answer. The maintenance men are quick to fix issues. Totally recommend this place.
