  As a female college student looking to get her first solo apartment, these apartments were great. I never felt unsafe, whether I was leaving early in the morning or coming back late at night. A relaxing thing for me to see was that there are kids who feel safe enough to play around the complex without their parents watching them like a hawk. It's gated, affordable, and quiet. I will say that the windows arent noise proof at all so you can hear someone's conversation when they walk by lol, but the walls themselves arent thin. I also liked the diversity. My neighbors were old, young, black, white, Hispanic, etc. As a black young adult female living alone, I never felt like I was in danger or like I had to hurry in the house. I did have a ring camera that did put me at ease tho, but nothing abnormal ever popped up on it. I definitely recommend Jefferson Shadows, especially because Mrs. Ashley was very nice and forthcoming from start to finish. My only critique is that it may be wise to put more ventilation or another fan in the one bedroom's kitchen because I set off the smoke alarms by cooking bacon on the stove, even with the overhead fan on 😅 Luckily you can turn them off by pressing a button but yea definitely gave me a scare. Other than that, this is the place to go!

  We moved here about a month ago and we absolutely love it here! It’s quiet, safe and very family friendly, we see kids running around and playing everyday! The front office staff And maintenance and absolutely wonderful! Work orders are always taken care of within one or two days, they’re fast, friendly and very polite! You get exactly what you see, very affordable and very nice! Parking is a bit tough but we don’t mind! Thank you Ms. Ashley and the staff at Jefferson Shadows for such a smooth transition here!!!

  Ashley was amazing & super helpful during our long distance move. The Apt was completely redone and so clean. We’re very pleased with everything!

  I really love living here. Clean well kept grounds, spacious apartments and friendly staff. Ms. Alanna Moss the property manager is fantastic! Any problems I have are handled swiftly. They definitely care about their tenants!

  As a medical professional, the preferences I must have are: close to work, convenient to basic necessities, and safety. Jefferson Shadows checked all of my boxes and as an added bonus it is peaceful and quiet, especially at night. Miss Cecilia, the property manager, and Mike, the owner, always have a smile and friendly greeting each time I’ve seen them. It’s a hidden gem on Jefferson Highway — if you’re in healthcare and looking for a place to call home. I would definitely recommend them.
