  My home process has just started but the kindness they have shown me over the past year is incredible ive had the worst experience with other mobile home lots because I wasn't wealthy or because I need my old home torn down and a new one for my kids I waisted so much time at other places when I should have went here first I havnt even made the trip yet to meet with my sales man in person and he has done more in just a short few days then when I went to one in somerset was 2 months of headaches and stress then never heard nothing else from them but went there right after having surgery to look at the home we was wanting at the time just to sit a few hours and then trying to push other homes off on us we was not interested in also i might add during that whole process I was talking to a salesman here he was given me advice and helping me out he tought me a little bit about stuff everytime I messaged him for help on what they were doing he got straight back to me and answered those questions never once tried to get my business or pressure me into coming to him he was helping me and I didnt even have a loan process with them that is great costumer service in my book and I wasn't even a customer at that time I will say even tho my process is starting im so glad there is still kind decent people working out at these mobile home lots I was about to give up hope an came accorss his post an saw it was oakwood and I was like let's try this one more time and ive had 2 loan processes with two other trailor companies and another one I spoke with in person and they just made me feel like I was waisting there time and mine so oakwood you all are awesome I appreciate you all treating me the way you have this past year 3 different guys at the same lot you all have been so great I hope my process goes smoothly and I appreciate you guys so much god bless....

  Jerry and I have debated whether or not to even post this. We purchased a double wide trailer in August of this year, from Oakwood Homes in London. Since signing the paperwork and finishing up the sale- nothing has gone as promised. Everything went as expected during our buying process, all questions and concerns were of utmost importance to them. Keep in mind we are now 2 1/2 months after our purchase and we want to take this opportunity to ensure others are aware of how we were treated by the staff: specifically management. Brandon Hendrick - Manager and Cameron in Sales both gave their word regarding staying in touch with us until our home was finished. We can not get them to return/answer our calls. We are not the type of people to sweat over small things, however we are only asking for them to KEEP THEIR WORD. We could honestly write a book on the things promised to be done- that have yet to be. I will explore just a few areas that I feel are of great concern. We were promised to have the underpinning/skirting and our heat pump installed which have not been. We are near winter and this is ridiculous. Our septic pipes have yet to be installed, leaving us unable to use the bathroom. In light of this we are faced with contacting the BBB.

  These guys did me a huge favor after the dealer I ordered my home from just went out of business after I already had an order in to the factory. They treated me very fairly and did everything they promised to do. I wish I would of went to them for the initial sale. I would of been money ahead and so would they. Buyers be aware that buying a manufactured home and going from an unimproved site to a finished home takes every bit as long as building a regular home. Site prep and utilities are expensive. No way around the zoning laws. And, weather is your worst enemy
