I can’t say enough wonderful things about the Resort. I’ve lived here for 10 months now, and I’ve loved every moment here. The leasing team always respond right away, they’re kind, understanding, and always in the office if you want to pop in and ask a question. They also throw community events all the time (I.e., pool parties with food trucks, movie nights, trunk-or-treats, and more). And when I submit a maintenance request (no matter how low or high the priority), a maintenance worker shows up the very next day, if not day-of. Yes, I’m serious! If I have a concern, it’s taken seriously, and I’m treated with empathy and kindness, and real work is done to take care of my situation. Everything is clean and well taken care of, both outside the homes and inside my unit. I have a 1 bed/1 bath and it’s so spacious but cozy at the same time. (And I am so thankful for the extra counter space in my bathroom, lol!). A huge plus, is that the area is so safe. There have been times I’ve forgotten to close my car windows, and the next morning I come outside to find them opened, and nothing has been taken or touched. When I get packages delivered to my door, I can leave them out there for a week and it never gets touched or taken. I would even feel safe leaving my door unlocked at night! There’s an online resident portal, and there’s people on there all the time saying “hey, someone dropped off a package for (name) at my apartment by accident. You can come and get it at unit # ____!”. So even the neighbors are always there for each other. The pool was lovely this summer, and it (as well as all the other community spaces) was clean and very well taken care of. Overall - what a lovely experience! The staff TRULY cares about you as a person and treats you like family. They care about your life and wellbeing, the place is safe and peaceful, the neighbors are incredibly respectful and friendly, and the units are clean. I’ve never had any issues with bugs, mold, or maintenance (which are the big things that deterred me from other complexes in my apartment search last year). The ONLY complaint I have, is that the windows and doors don’t have a fantastic seal on them, so it got so cold in the winter, causing my electric bill to spike a lot. It also got quite warm in the summer, but that wasn’t really a problem for me personally. The road noises are also quite annoying, but that’s just an issue for me because my unit sits near the road - that’s not anyone’s fault. I love it here, I love it here, I love it here! Is it expensive? Yes, yes it is. But it’s genuinely so worth it.

Please don't be fooled by the fake 5 star reviews left by employees. I experienced an unexpected layoff from my employer, which put me in a difficult financial situation. Fortunately, I managed to secure assistance and eventually found new work. However, when it came to coordinating payment between myself, the rental office, and the assistance program, the rental office made several clerical errors. These mistakes resulted in the check being returned to the sender, and by the time it was reissued, it was already too late. What struck me as interesting was that the check seemed to have been intentionally held onto by the rental office for three weeks, as if the rental office was looking for a reason to evict me by claiming the funds were not received on time, instead of accepting my payment and allowing me to settle back into normalcy. I couldn't fathom why they would want to do that until I received a 7-day notice to vacate, despite my attempts to pay in full (including the exorbitant late fees). Furthermore, when I began searching for a new apartment, I noticed that the rental office had increased the listing price by $400 compared to five months ago when I first leased the unit. This amounts to a 25% increase. It seems that they are willing to make me homeless in order to overcharge the next tenant, even though the current unit has various issues. In the apartment I rented, the toilets leak and wobble, the lights don't work properly, the doors don't close or lock effectively, and the upstairs neighbors consistently make disruptive noise by stomping, slamming doors, playing drums, and blasting music. The listing for the apartment mentioned a 'garbage disposal,' but there was none in the unit. Additionally, the microwave emits a terrible groaning sound when used, the kitchen is cramped, the drawers are too small for a standard utensil tray, and the closets are poorly designed, preventing the closet door from closing when using the racks on the side. To make matters worse, the cheap plastic curtain rod in the bathroom fell off and shattered the first time I tried to use it. The faucet in my tub is broken, the tub stopper doesn't work, and the pest control is ineffective against spiders. Overall, everything in the apartment feels cheaply made and poorly assembled. Initially, we would have been content to stay because the office staff are friendly, the neighborhood is decent, and the location is convenient. However, in hindsight, I regret not choosing somewhere else. I wish I had found a place that prioritizes building positive relationships with its tenants over making a few extra bucks. In my experience, PRG lacks integrity, humanity, and is definitely not worth the new list price of almost $1,500.00 for the 2br. I strongly recommend finding an alternative place to live in Lexington.

Great management! Newly renovated fireplace apartment. Staff cares about tenants, they work with you to make your stay pleasant. I just renewed my lease for an extra year. If you are quiet and want to live in a nice place, please come on over. ( if you like noise, please go away 😁)
