  NEVER GO THERE!!! We spoke on the phone with a salesman named Chris and told us everything was included in the package. Then we drove approximately 6 hours back and forth to look at mobile homes. Once we arrived he lied about everything and started adding additional charges. He was absolutely not knowledgeable about the units and every time we asked him about something and tried to avoid the answer. He wasted 6 hours of time and fuel. Please be aware of this place and especially Chris!!!

  after dealing with them 2 years ago and a different sales person I wasn't 100% sure I wanted to again to upgrade our home to something larger; however, after meeting Kris M. day 1 he made me instantly feel at ease, not like a bother, answered all my questions, and we just vibed! He was so helpful every step of the way!!! Even when I was having a hysterical meltdown (a few times) he knew exactly what to say and helped calmed me down. Let's just say my home buying experience was COMPLEX and nothing on their part and he stayed strong with me through it all..never giving up and making sure we made it to close on time..... I appreciate him and the whole team more than they know.

  We purchased a home, to say where we put it was easy is an understatement, but these guys made it happen. Not only was the delivery a challenge for them and us, the service we have received after the sale is top notch.. and that means more than the awesome home we have.. They take care of you and make everything right. We can’t recommend them enough. A+A+ 100% They service team that comes to your home is wonderful and listens to all your concerns and completes them everytime.. We highly recommend Clayton of Corbin

  We were in a bit of a jam when we came to Clayton'sin Corbin. We had ordered and paid our deposit with another company. They didn't come through and we were pretty stuck. We chose a home in stock at Clayton's Corbin.We closed on Wednesday and the home was delivered on Friday! Granted it took a couple of weeks to get everything ready. They had septic, electric, water all hooked up and inspected so we could actually move in 3 weeks from the day we closed on the home. I won't say that everything was perfect but that would be a crazy expectation from any new construction let alone a mobile home. I will say that they have been very helpful and have addressed our issues. The technicians sent out have all been wonderful. We had some communication issues early on but that was quickly resolved. I don't usually give reviews but when the state inspector came out for our county's reassessment I knew I had to submit one. The state told us that it was the best foundation, plumbing, heat and air conditioning installation they had ever seen. They run into a lot of problems but wished that they all could be like ours. Thank you to the entire crew at Clayton's in Corbin.

  So I want to give a very honest review of our experience. We bought in February of 2021 but Ive waited to give a complete review of our experience. So it is hard to beat the prices of this Clayton Homes; however there is a catch. That catch is the process was very frustrating after we paid fully up front. I dont want to type on and on about all the details so ill keep it brief. I was told everything would be done in 2 weeks. That sounded too good to be true so I gave it 5-6 weeks before I started calling them. I had to call almost every day for 3-4 months. Constant excuses were made but I knew if I backed off my place would never be ready. We got a 1,200 sq ft single wide and it was finally set up 4 months after purchase. It was unbelievably frustrating to hand over that much money and fell like you are being dodged. I even thought we might have been scammer. That said after it was ready we have had a ton of issues with the home. Which is expected from a single wide in the first year. We were sure to use the heck out of that warranty. Clayton Homes honored it each time. I just had to double check the work each time and call my own people out a couple times but they reimbursed that each time. They even honored a plumbing bill I had after my warranty expired. Justin has been very responsive each time we have an issue. So this is a mixed review. It was a nightmare at first, even though we were very patient. But when they hired justin things got easier for us. Be sure to use that warranty and stay on top of any issues that pop up. We had leaks at every vent cap even over the furnace and every pipe connection inside. We even had lose electric lines in the wall. Things have calmed now but finding the kinks that first year is key.
