  My girlfriend and I decided to move in together in early 2025. I searched for several apartment properties and asked specific questions regarding each property. Even before we visited the property, The Drake stood out in their ability to understand and provide information we were looking for. When we did visit, we were warmly greeted and shown around the property and the apartment type that we were interested in. We were still treated well even after mentioning that we hadn't decided and were still wanting to look at other properties. I highlight this because I can usually tell when the attitude changes when property managers might not make a sale. The treatment and handling of our questions were major contributing factors that made us want to stay at The Drake, despite the higher price tag. I want to specifically mention Jane Gullett. She was the one that was answering all our questions, showed us the property and apartment when we visited, and made us feel welcomed. Throughout our stay at The Drake, we primarily worked with Jane the most and she did an excellent job. She was always happy to work with us, did her best to provide any information we needed and assisted any way that she could. Her work and attitude made our overall experience here very good. This experience never changed for the duration of our stay here. That's not to say that there was anyone on staff at The Drake that was not "good". Overall, we never experienced anything negative from the staff. Everyone we encountered was kind, informative, and genuinely seemed as though they wanted to help and be friendly. We didn't need the maintenance staff often, but when we did, they were responsive and capable. They did a good job of keeping the property working and in good shape. When it came time to move out, we had to break our lease to do so. Everything went according to their contract and the final inspection was fair and we did receive a refund from our original deposit, which is exceptionally nice since I think everyone who's rented before has likely not had a fair move-out evaluation and never saw their deposit again. I'm no longer in Bowling Green, but if I were to move back to the area again, The Drake would be at the top of my list of apartments to stay.

  The Drake is truly an excellent place to live. I’ve been here since 2022 and couldn’t be happier. Everything—from the office staff and maintenance team to the neighbors—has made living here a wonderful experience. The apartments are spacious, beautifully designed, and feature large, private decks. The garages are exactly what you’d hope for, and the amenities and overall upkeep are outstanding. I especially want to recognize the staff—Andrew (before his promotion), Jenna, Jane, and Hailey—who are all compassionate, caring, and dedicated. They take real pride in serving the community, and it shows. I couldn’t recommend The Drake more!
