  Love the layout of the apartment, location, and surrounding community. Location is near all the shopping and restaurants you would ever need. However, feel like I have been “stonewalled “ on some major maintenance requests which are considered “livable” and only done when non-occupied. The trouble is I have been here nearly 6 years and wear does accumulate! I plan to be here another 6+ years, so do I simply live with the accumulated wear??

  The staff is kind, hard working, and their efforts show in the maintenance of the grounds and apartments. They all seem to be in constant motion trying to make this the best property it can be. The structures are good quality and well maintained. Ignore any reviews older than a year and a half ago, it's a completely different place now that Heather and her team are in charge.

  It is very quiet and clean community. The staff and management are very friendly especially the leasing agent ISABEL that she does the service requests are very good and knowledgeable about the community. I have no regrets in choosing this community. It´s beautiful and totally met my expectations. I feel safe and secure and proud of the maintenance team!

  My experience at The Sovereign has been wonderful. The staff is so kind and helpful, the amenities are wonderful, and as a personal trainer, I am able to assist many of The Sovereign residents, with a gym that has all the necessary equipment. The grounds are kept very tidy and there isn’t much noise at all. Macitence is out within the same day as a request is received. It’s a great community of all ages. My son loves walking to the sports fields across a the way! Also, we’re so close to all the amazing restaurants, shopping, and entertainment. The Sovereign is a wonderful place to live! 🤩

  This is easily one of the nicest places I’ve lived at, certainly in Overland Park. You are actually getting what you’re paying for. Maintenance is prompt and actively attentive, same for the management, and a sense of community is present here. When the trash compactor was down maintenance came and picked up my garbage from my door until it was replaced. It’s a safe and very quiet neighborhood with much better access to the rest of the city (if anything it’s worth it to avoid metcalf.) They have no problem with letting me park my work truck here which is also a plus. This place is pretty perfect for me, and it’s clear the staff do what they can to make it that way.
