  I have been living here at Pointe Royal for a little now and everything seems great! Everyone at the office have been very helpful and very kind with helping me pick my apartment. It seems like Don, Jessica, Carly, and Dee have a great relationship with each other and its always very pleasant coming up to the office for questions.

  I had a very disappointing experience living in this community, primarily due to the extremely poor and unresponsive maintenance service. Essential issues, such as air conditioning and water heater repairs, take a minimum of a week to resolve, often extending beyond that timeframe. This lack of urgency and concern from management leaves residents feeling neglected and frustrated. The experience of being without fundamental necessities, like air conditioning or hot water, for days is deemed unacceptable, particularly when paying rent with the expectation of a certain standard of living. Furthermore, communication from the management and maintenance team is inadequate, contributing to a stressful environment for residents. In light of these grievances, I would not recommend this community to others seeking reliable living conditions.

  Jake is hands down the best maintenance manager I’ve ever had in my 9 years living here! He’s been at our complex for about 3 years now, and he truly stands out. What I admire most about Jake is his fortitude and incredible attention to detail. He always makes sure things are done right — no shortcuts. He’s so thoughtful and caring, especially when he has to move my things around during repairs; he never leaves a mess behind. His responsiveness is amazing too. If I mark a request as high priority, he’s there within a few hours. Emergencies? He shows up right away. Jake’s friendliness and reliability make such a difference in day-to-day living. We all missed him terribly when he had to help another property for a few months — the fill-in was a disaster, and many of us residents actually waited until Jake returned to handle our issues because we knew he’d do it properly. Thank you, Jake, for your hard work and for genuinely caring about our homes. You make this apartment complex feel like a real community. Highly recommend!

  As someone who has called Pointe Royal home for nearly 8 years, this south Overland Park community is beyond fantastic. The staff is warm and inviting and they really do embrace their residents needs with the utmost compassion and professionalism.
