No wonder this company has so many bad reviews — I thought I was the only one who experienced it! If I could, I’d leave zero stars. This has been the worst experience I’ve ever had with a property management company.
The staff are unfriendly and unprofessional. When you walk in, no one greets you — they just look at you and walk away. I waited over 20 minutes with no acknowledgment. It honestly felt like I was being ignored, possibly because I’m Asian. I noticed they were quick to assist others who were white or Black, but not me.
One of the staff even looked like they were under the influence, and the manager was completely unhelpful, constantly passing her responsibilities to another employee (a tall white guy who actually seemed more competent — he should be the manager).
The apartment complex itself looks dirty and poorly maintained, even from the street. The location is congested, parking is a nightmare, and the overall environment feels neglected.
In short: unprofessional staff, poor management, and an unpleasant property. I do not recommend living here.

The first year of residency was positive, but the quality has declined in the past year due to management and maintenance crew restructuring.
On-site experience: Maintenance workmanship and competence have decreased. Unit upgrades, such as new flooring, are cheaply done, leading to increased noise. A recurring roof leak caused a mold problem early in the tenancy. Instead of replacing the affected sheetrock, the issue was addressed with bleach. The problem is certain to persist in the apartment above.
Community services: Mandatory valet trash service is a source of frustration. Residents are billed for a service they do not use due to close proximity to the dumpster. The dumpster often overflows on Sundays because of the lack of valet service. During winter, the compactor freezes, which causes trash to collect outside the compactor all week.
The office staff is consistently helpful, but the quality of maintenance and community upkeep has decreased.

Wow! The location is the only good thing about this place. There is wonderful apartments next store you should move instead of this place. If I could give a -5 I would.
Let’s start with the management…. In short terrible. People below a budget. Very quick to try to kick me and my roommate out when I tried to address the slow maintenance, terrible parking, and over 200 undocumented residents, because “I was listed as a resident, but not on the least” and “raised my voice at staff”. One call to the fire department for capacity issues is all it will take, and I’m pretty close to it, there is 8-10 people living in some of these 2 bedroom apartments. But they don’t care until you try to speak up. They are also Unresponsive to any emails pertaining to very important information. Since I’ve lived here, 3 property managers, and 3 maintenance teams have been in and out. Clearly Fogelman thinks their budget isn’t the issue and it’s the people, not true. I feel bad for the people working here, I know they work in fear of doing the right thing.
Secondly, rent and maintenance. Rent is rising, renovations happen after a resident moves out, but everyone else pays for it. Hmmm…. My ac is 80-85 degrees in the summer, and 55-60 degrees in the winter. Dishwasher carts have been rusty since we moved in, apartments catch on fire due to lack of electrical supervision on properties, My toilet took 5 months to get fixed, pipes are all stuffed up and clog every month or so, they don’t fix things for weeks or months, they don’t check on appliances. It’s not the maintenance guys themselves, it’s management and the ones above the property manger waving a budget in everyone’s face. You move in here, you WILL be put below a budget. A nice new outside paint job and cheap vinyl flooring is put above your LIVING NEEDS. It’s not even being picky, it’s flat out unsafe to live in conditions like this.
Lastly, as I mentioned a bit, undocumented residents. Over capacity to the most extreme extent, 3/4 people is manageable, not everyone can afford to live alone. But 8/10? On my daily walk with my dog, I see 3/4 air mattresses in bedrooms and see over 10 people in some cases going in and out. Which leads to the parking issue. People are parking on curbs, blocking driveways, blocking other people, but the tow company only cares if the property approves the tow. Wild, as I park behind my roommate and get towed. The fire department will be the next person I contact, as well as a HVAC company to fix the AC problem we have, as well as a plumber so we can use our appliances, as well as new dishwasher equipment, to which all of this is what I have to do to keep myself from overheating in my own apartment, consuming rust, or simply wanting to bathe.
Outrageous! I can’t wait to see the bill they charge me when I leave, I know I have made apart of these issues and documented all of them and spoke up. That will be for an attorney to handle. I am counting down the days until this lease is up. DO NOT MOVE HERE, OR ANY FOGELMAN PROPERTY RESIDENCE.
