I have lived in 3 different buildings here. The first one, building 9, was almost perfect. The unit was nice, no bugs, everything worked well and when it didn't maintenance was usually quick. Also someone came to clean the hallways every once in a while and they looked great.
However, everything started going downhill after this. I moved out for about 6 months when my lease was up then came back to building 1. The unit itself was okay, the tub was extremely squeaky, we had a neighbor with dogs that would bark constantly with the balcony door open, the hallways were disgusting. I lived in that unit for 6 months and not once did anyone come to clean the hallway. The parking lot was often full and I as well as other cars had to park on the side of the street or in any random place I could find. My car was broken into and tire was slashed, I contacted the police and called the office to see if they could review video from the camera at the office. They refused to do so. Luckily, a neighbor had their own camera facing the parking lot b/c there were prior issues with cars being keyed and broken into.
I transferred to building 12 a few months ago and yet again, things are getting worse and worse. THIS UNIT HAS ROACHES! Both German and American roaches have been seen in this unit. The doors are sooo drafty its insane. You can see straight through the balcony door to outside. Locking and unlocking the front door is impossible without 2 hands. We literally have to use one hand to pull the door up and push in to even get it to lock or unlock. The walls/ceiling sound like its raining often, you can see where the walls/ceiling have been cut out and patched up. There are soft spots in the floor that make it feel like you are going to fall through. Today they shut the water off and did not let anyone know. I called the office 6 times over 30 minutes with no answer, I texted the office with no answer. An hour later they sent an email about the water being shut off but still no text or call back.
Overall, this complex has declined drastically since I first lived here from 1/24-1/25. The trash compactor has been broken for months. We pay monthly for valet trash (no option not to) that came less than half the days they were supposed to in November and is still a hit or miss now. Trash piles up around the dumpster, smells and looks awful. Parking lots and roads inside the complex have potholes all over, even the speed bump is breaking apart. While I'm grateful to have a roof over my head, we pay wayyy to much to have all of these issues. These apartments are labeled "luxury" and absolutely should not be.

Nice apartments, but definitely overpriced. Good luck actually getting ahold of anyone in the leasing office, this has been an issue the whole time, whether it was scheduling a tour, applying, living there, or even after moving out. It’s like pulling teeth to get a response. I have had packages that have been delivered there after moving out, and they tell you “we have your new address on file and will forward it or call you,” but I’ve left multiple voicemails and haven’t heard back. Communication here is really frustrating.

CHECK ALL WINDOWS BEFORE SIGNING A LEASE!! Only 2 out of my 10 windows actually work and I was told at the end of July that parts would be ordered and take about 3 months to arrive. Its now been 6 MONTHS with absolutely no communication, no updates, nothing. So I submitted a new request and it immediately got marked as "complete" with a note: "haven't received parts". This should have been fixed BEFORE they put the unit on the market!! The windows are so old, they're leaky and drafty, have no soundproofing, and yet can't be opened! I435 is RIGHT THERE and you can hear EVERYTHING! Its so loud all the time and my electricity bill is higher than my previous place since the windows here are so old and crappy!! REGRET MOVING HERE! Rent also isn't cheap, I could have been paying just a few hundred more for a brand new apartment elsewhere in the area with new windows and a better location!! Update 2/20/26: they marked my original maintenance request as complete AFTER DOING NOTHING!! DO NOT LIVE HERE THEY DO NOT UPKEEP THEIR PROPERTY!!! Also all the street lights have burned out so it's SUPER DARK in the parking lots at night or if you need to take your dog out. It feels very sketchy and unsafe!

I’ve lived at Cambridge square for 2 years in two different apartments (Jan 2024-present)The first year was fantastic, prompt maintenance repairs (though our washer was “fixed” two or three times and broke the next day). That was a minor issue in the grand scheme of things as the amenities were great, pool was beautiful & always clean. I always recommended it to people looking for an apartment in the area.
In my second experience, there was a significant shift in the quality of the services provided and management. The trash compactor has been broken for weeks on end without resolution in sight, there is an unsightly roll off dumpster parked in front of it that is always overflowing with trash and valet trash service ($21/month) is regularly canceled due to the dumpster not being picked up. It seems the office has gone radio silent on the resolution of the compactor issue. The pool was filthy this summer and in total disarray - tiles falling off the walls/lighting fixtures dangling in the water, and just dirty/cloudy/oily appearing water. Despite many of us reporting this to the front office, there was no visible improvement, but we were told that NEXT year there would improvements (resurfacing the pool, for example). My building’s breezeway/stairwell is COVERED in wasp nests, cobwebs, and the stairs are so disgusting — covered with who knows what — all they need is a good power washing and it would be so much more decent. There has been a car taking up a parking spot for months with a flat tire.
Utilities are very expensive for the square footage as the units are incredibly drafty. Walls are paper thin and you can often times hear conversations next door.I’ve had an open ticket regarding my dishwasher since 11/23/25.
Pros - huge porch/decent sized closet/wood burning fireplace.
Unfortunately, my lease isn’t up for a few more weeks. I’m so ready to be out. It’s a shame because the surrounding area is amazing!
