I have only been here for about two weeks now but so far everything and everyone I have dealt with is very friendly and polite. I did have a problem with my dryer and maintenance was able to fix the problem in less than 24 hours. So far I am very happy with my decision to move here.

We have been here for 4yr and it has been going steadily downhill the entire time. We generally try not to rock the boat or complain, but it's getting a bit ridiculous. It's becoming similar to a lot of other places owned by large corporations.
The last two summers we have not had consistently functioning A/C. Last summer we had no A/C for a week and had to depend on a small window unit. The fix held the rest of the summer. This summer, it has been intermittently not working again. A fix has yet to hold and we have gone multiple days and nights with the apartment over 80. It constantly freezes when set at 74 too, likely because they won't put enough freon in it. Instead they tell residents they can't have their A/C run if it's 70 or lower. Which means if the temperature drops at night and your A/C is on then runs you get stuck with a frozen A/C. This means no A/C during the day and increased temperatures. Then you have to wait 10+ hours for the apartment to cool down because the A/C unit is weak and too small for a two bedroom apartment. All this nicely drives up the electric bill during a time when Nipsco rates are constantly increasing.
Last winter we had no heat for almost two weeks when it was freezing outside. We had to depend on a space heater that we couldn't run when we were gone. Then once the heat was repaired the filter or inside was so dirty that it spews dust out of the vents whenever it runs.
On top of this, all of the appliances and inside are old. They won't replace anything if it still works, no matter its condition. The stove barely works. It's old enough that it doesn't have a clock or a temperature gauge on it. Due to the design of the apartment it also sets off the fire alarm when used. You had to point a fan at the fire alarm to prevent this. The microwaves control panel flexes inward and is on its way to not working. The fridges are also pretty old and some of them have issues sealing properly. Finally, the carpet is ancient, dry rotted, and has been fraying away. We've shown this to multiple managers and nothing has been said or done. They'll probably try to blame it on us and want us to replace it. We also got the unit with a broken screen door. We had to beg to get a new one put on so we could let a breeze in. Even then they couldn't find one that fits the building so maintenance had to jerry rig and reshape one. It won't close properly but at least it mostly works.
For $1600+ a month the management company could attend to almost all of this without issue. They won't. The site manager is a revolving door and half of them spend little time actually on site. The only good part is the maintenance team. The maintenance team is friendly and generally responsive. They try their best to maintain the property and make everything work even with their limited resources. The community is also generally pretty nice and quiet. Although some people are irresponsible with their pets off leashes, ties to patios, and they don't clean up after them. The maintenance team and quiet apartment are the only reasons it gets two stars.

Great job. We have lived here for over 10 years and until recently we liked it here. Ever since the new management company took over, this place has gone down hill. If you like random charges to your account and a big increases in rent, this is the place for you. This used to be a great place. I hope the current owners sell it to someone else who won't run it like a slum.

Walked in was greeted with someone yelling from their office that they’re back here I was not greeted by anyone I had to go find them. I had some questions about apartments first one was allowing pets she asked me what the weight of my dog I said why is there a weight limit, I thought there would be a breed limit. She then Looked at me and said well some people have dogs the size of elephants, and then proceeded to tell me all of the negatives there are with a large dog this is her opinion and tells me not to get upset you were rude from the time I walked in! The prices of these apartments change daily! So just now if you get a $1600 Renters quote today tomorrow it might be 1650 or more
