She left on time, but they still charged over $2,500 - claiming the lease automatically renewed because the notice wasn't in writing. Even after explaining that she had called and given notice in good faith, management refused to work with her or show any flexibility. It was really disappointing and felt unfair. So do yourself a favor - don't rent here!
