  Absolutely terrible experience! Do NOT rent here!!! First, when I rented the place, they charged an exorbitant non-refundable deposit and various processing fees. After moving in, I discovered the windows weren't sealed properly and the dishwasher was broken—no one came to fix it for about three months. Later, my tenant account malfunctioned, preventing me from logging in to pay rent. They still didn't address it for over four months despite dozens of text messages from me. They just kept stalling and adding late fees to my account. Failure to pay resulted in eviction threats. They arbitrarily added charges to my account—like forcing me to purchase their insurance or accusing me of improper trash disposal (without evidence)—and demanded payment. In summary, the apartment itself is decent, but their management is utterly incompetent. They care only about squeezing every last penny out of you without scruples!!!

  I have lived at blackbird for 2.5 years and haven’t had any problems. Everyone is super nice and gets back quickly if you have any questions. Very quiet and relaxing place to live.

  I lived in the new apartments on Kestral blvd west when it first opened in cooperation with Purdue. Overall a positive experience with no major incidents, though the rooms were initially incomplete and quickly thrown together.
