  I wanted to leave an honest and fair review based on our experience. From the beginning, communication was a bit difficult when trying to initially inquire about properties on US 40, as it took some time to get in contact with someone. However, once we did connect, our questions were answered clearly and email communication was prompt and easy. The administrative staff we worked with were consistently kind and helpful, which I truly appreciated. That said, we did run into several issues with the property itself. There were ongoing maintenance concerns, including poor plumbing and recurring drain problems that were never fully resolved at the source. This was especially frustrating given that we had a clear understanding of the issue but didn’t see a lasting fix implemented. We also experienced bug issues and ended up paying out of pocket for pest control. One of the biggest challenges was the lack of communication around maintenance. At times, it felt like we were left in the dark regarding what was being done or when issues would actually be resolved. At move-out, we made a strong effort to deep clean the property, but a large portion of our deposit was still withheld. We only received some of it back after submitting a formal legal notice with supporting documentation, which added to the frustration. Overall, while the staff we interacted with were professional and kind, the broader management and maintenance practices did not meet expectations. Our experience ultimately led us to move elsewhere. I hope this feedback is helpful for future tenants and encourages improvements moving forward.

  PMI Midwest has been a great company to work with. The team is professional, responsive, and always willing to help with any questions or concerns. Maintenance requests are handled quickly, and communication is clear throughout the process. I really appreciate how organized everything is, from payments to lease details. Overall, they make renting smooth and stress-free. I would definitely recommend PMI Midwest to anyone looking for reliable property management.

  This company tried to charge my roommates and I $6,000 as a deposit that needed to be paid in 48 hours from the email. This amount needed to be paid before we received a lease to sign. We are not risky tenants. When I asked for an explanation on how they determined this amount, I didn’t get an answer.

  Terrible company run!!! They don’t help. Maintenance request are ignored my neighbors has had no hot water for 3 weeks my air has been out in hot weather it’s was 76. My garbage disposal has been for weeks. They took over management and let me just say I hate it. I filed a complaint with the county as well. Never lease with this company. The owner is lying under these reviews saying he doesn’t see that we are associated with them. I dare them to try to take my deposit. Always take before and after pictures of the apartment . Here is proof i rent with them. Smh once again terrible Update - They fixed both finally but communication is still terrible . The cops even had a hard time getting ahold of them when they were doing a welfare check
