    Shortly after move in we had some plumbing issues arise, but upon placing a service request everything was tended to immediately and effectively. Our service technician Joshua arrived on time, communicated well, and resolved our issue efficiently. We hope to see this technician in the future, thanks Joshua! Only giving a 4 star because of how soon issues arose upon moving in, but would still recommend Progress Residential.

    Moved into this home and I am happy to say that everything is going great have had any issues at all since I moved in when I put in a ticket they go and get it fixed right away and the costumer service line is always a big help 100% recommend PROGRESS RENTAL.

    I’ve now been in my Progress home just under 30 days. When I came to view this home there was a major plumbing/fixture problem in the primary bedroom’s bathroom. After submitting my application I spoke to a representative who told me they submitted a maintenance request. I did my phone walk through with Taylor C. and received an email that the service ticket had been completed. Needless to say IT HAD NOT! The day I moved in the shower faucet and spout was not attached to the shower wall and there was still the huge hole behind that faucet/spout in the closet behind it. Nothing had been done to fix it. I told the rep that during the walk through and she didn’t have anything to say in response. I submitted that maintenance request and a tech was out here the very next day to fix it. Since I’ve been here I’ve had to have a new fridge put in (the last one leaked and stopped cooling due to it being 20yrs old from when house was built), overhead lighting needed repairing, leaking faucet under cabinet. My maintenance requests have been completed within 2-3says by super greet techs Josh, Lynn & (I believe Brian). They are very polite engaging and fix the issue right away. I ask questions so that I can learn and they all have explained things with no hesitation! My furnace would not turn on and after trouble shooting every way possible the night time CSR submitted an emergency maintenance request. Since it was after 8pm and the outside and inside temperatures were below 30, they offered to pay for a night in a hotel or reimbursement for space heaters. I have a dog so I went and got 2 small space heaters. I didn’t spend anywhere near the total they offered to reimburse me either. I submitted the receipt and videos of the furnace issue and within 3 business days I got the total I spent on the space heaters back as a credit into my account!! I understand every company will have some unsatisfied customers but as of my first month with Progress I am very happy. I love my new house, love the area I live in and am happy with the staff I’ve worked with at Progress. If you’re looking to rent a home, I recommend them

    I am extremely disappointed and frustrated with my experience as a tenant. From day one, the home I rented had a severe cockroach infestation that clearly existed before I moved in. I repeatedly reported it, and it made the home uninhabitable, unsafe, and a serious health concern. Under Texas Property Code §92.056, landlords are required to provide a habitable residence — yet the issue was never resolved. Instead of taking responsibility for renting out a home in this condition, Progress Residential is now trying to charge me $3,550 in “early termination fees.” This is completely unacceptable. I am not breaking the lease because I “changed my mind.” I am leaving because the unit is not livable, and I have the documentation, photos, and emails to prove it. No tenant should be forced to stay in an infested home or punished financially for protecting their health. Communication is slow, inconsistent, and always shifts blame back to the resident. Rather than fixing the problem they caused, they try to nickel-and-dime tenants with fees that should NOT apply in situations involving habitability violations. If you are considering renting from Progress Residential, save yourself the stress and look elsewhere. They do not take responsibility for unsafe living conditions, and they will still attempt to charge you thousands of dollars to leave a situation they created. Renters deserve better than this.
