Me & my brother have moved out almost a year ago now & recieved a final move out bill totaling well over 1500$ for "damages" even though most were normal wear and tear such as repainting the apartment after 4 years & switching out the carpet (including a 150$ fee for a microwave door handle & a 120$ "extra cleaning fee"). I immediately disputed the charge asking for exact purchases and itemized lists that aren't just generalizations - to which we received nothing. Every month I reached out and asked and they would simply respond saying their investigation was ongoing. Fast forward 8 months, and now we can't move into a new apartment because this debt is holding us back since it has still since not gotten resolved nor proven to be justified to us. We have been trying to sort it out for two days now, and have been met with rudeness from the staff, constant "unknowingness" of any answers from the staff, and have gotten nowhere in reaching a settlement because neither the staff at the complex nor the debt collection have the authority to approve any settlement. They have been purposefully evading any answers as to where these numbers came from, and are unwilling to give any information as to how to contact corporate or the staff above the property managers to reach the head directly. We are on a limited timeframe and they know this, so they try to evade answers and actions to force your hand into paying unjust costs.
Overall, we cannot recommend this complex as there is a complete negligence in customer service & any sort of compliance with Indiana statute IC 32-31-7 which deals in normal wear and tear of the various aspects of an apartment such as fading paint and deteoritating carpet - and choose to instead charge the tenants for them anyways (while also bloating the amount - 800$ for carpet and 540$ for repainting). We will continue to press for this matter to be resolved as we are willing to of course pay what is right & what we can - but if you are looking into moving into these apartments, steer clear. This is an honest review from a tenant who lived there 3 and a half years. Expect this same treatment.

My time at 5700 was from May of 2024 to October of 2025. First off, my move in was a train wreck to say the least because I walked into an apartment that ac had clearly been off for a LONG time and it smelled of stale cigarettes. To top it off, I had to wipe EVERYTHING down because the nicotine was on light switches and there was dust all over. The only thing I was happy about was that the carpet was brand new and then I walked with socks and found that staples had been left in the wood and stabbed my feet. When I IMMEDIATELY complained about this, management sent over a maintenence guy with air deodorizor spray. Even towards the end of my lease, the cigarette smell was there and now ALL my belongings STILL smell of cigarettes and I have been moved out for 5 months. The staff have been the most unhelpful people and never answer the phone or emails. Now I have collections agencies coming after me because the managers refused to walk through the apartment with me and claimed that I did over $200 of damage. Mind you, part of moving out is a $125 carpet cleaning fee (even though they put new carpet in when you move). I have never been so infuriated as to deal with this company. DO NOT MOVE HERE! There are much cheaper and nicer places than this one.

Just skip on this one if you have a dog, I wish I did.
They DNA test your dog and test turds left on property for a match. Sounds good in theory, but reality is that there is minimal to no lighting throughout the property; bags are inconsistently stocked; and the dog park is littered with dead leaves and tens of turds. Best part? $350 fee when you miss a nugget in the dark...absolutely bonkers policy. They skirt their responsibility in the deal, but conveniently are still capable of assessing and collecting fees.
I bring my own bags and have a powerful enough flashlight to burn a hole in your pocket, trust me it's not hard to miss one or even pick up the wrong turd given the conditions.

My time at 5700 was mixed. Office staff changed hands on a regular basis and the last two, Amber & Sharon, were two of the least helpful not answering phones or emails. You had to go into the office if you wanted an answer about anything. In addition, Sharon was very standoffish. Maintenance was consistently excellent and they kept the place clean. They have a big yard in the back for the dogs to run which was great. The location is close to most everything, they do have a small weight room and they do have holiday meals for renters a few times a year which is nice but most everyone is at work when they offer them. They also offer chances to win a gift card for submitting good reviews periodically. Just wanted to share an honest review instead of one bribed by a gift card.
