  Maintenance is really great and fast. Everything was great until I decided to not renew my lease and noticed a discrepancy in my contract move out date compared to the notices I received, which had a move out date listed a week prior. I emailed and talked to individuals in the office a few times to confirm my move out date. I wanted to make sure my bill would be prorated since the lease said a different move out date compared to what the office had been telling me. The assistant manager who I spoke with was very rude on the phone and blamed the mistake on the office being “very busy”. She tried telling me that I would have to stay until the actual contract date. She made me feel like the situation was my fault and that there was nothing she could do about it. I told her that I had already made other living arrangements because of what the office had confirmed as my move out date several times. In the middle of me talking, she placed me on hold to talk to her manager, who said they would make an “exception.” The hostility of the assistant manager was unprofessional. It has made me hesitant to recommend Grandview.

  I can’t say enough good things about this apartment community! The office staff goes above and beyond to be helpful and kind, and they truly care about the residents. The community is beautiful, peaceful, and well cared for, making it such a joy to come home to every day. I’m so thankful to live here and highly recommend it to anyone searching for a great place to call home.

  This place does not even deserve one star. The only redeeming quality is the maintenance because they are really nice. Trash is always piled up, and looks really gross. They don’t have enough bins, and the trash does not get picked up enough. Cheaply put together, two days after we moved in the floors started separating in the kitchen. We’ve lived here less than a year, and have had multiple issues, the oven not coming to temp, the washer stopped working, the AC was not working for 3 weeks, and we have a big bath tub but the water doesn’t stay hot enough to fill it. Front office people are not very kind and expect emails weekly because no one seems to be able to follow the rules around here. There is never any parking, and in the winter they have plows taking up four spots right by our apartment. Your packages will never be delivered to your door, so you’ll have to go to the front office and sort through a ton of packages. They also mislead us on a few things, including we were told we could do month to month after our 6 month lease expired. Our lease was coming up to its expiration and they fought us tooth and nail saying we couldn’t do month to month even though we had emails when we moved in from them saying we could. Save your money, and find somewhere else.
