  I am buying a home from there as we speak. All I can say is run far away. This has been the worst experience in my life. I was lied to by the manager and told I could move in today November 24th 2025 so that we would be in before Thanksgiving. So I packed up all my house and threw out my furniture because I have new sitting in the home and now I get to have my Thanksgiving at cracker barrel instead of with family. Now I am being told another couple of weeks and I may be able to move. I closed on this place August 29th 2025 and was told it should be around 6 weeks and we could move in. The home was already on the lot and moved to our property fairly quickly but the rest of the process has been slow. Especially since it took the people doing the skirting 2 months to even get it put on. I am also gonna have to pay for hotel stay and storage because I informed my landlord we were moving on the 24th. This is ridiculous to put someone through especially with the holidays being so close. I have also had to pay the rent and stuff here plus utilities at the new place.

  My stepson got a place from. Them it was put in back in July and they still haven't came out to clean up mess and backfill dirt it's so bad you can see septic tank guess.we are going to find.our own contractor means Clayton dont seem to care if would.not recommend them to anyone they are very half ass people

  Beautiful homes... Friendly service.... And that's about it. Don't believe them when they tell you that they are going to get bids for the work. They know what it's going to cost and they have a couple of people who do all the work. They never call back even when promised. They don't keep you informed of when work will be done. If you have to get a septic system it's best to look for someone yourself. A man named Jamie comes to your house for your septic. Ask for someone else. He doesn't honor his work. Once he's done he's done with you. Don't let him backfill around your house. Won't be done right and the water won't drain properly. Had a beautiful yard. Now I have ponds. Pat in the service department is great and Scott who does work for them is also great to work with. Two positive in ALOT of negatives
