  Updated (8/2025): Title: Ongoing Health Risks, Poor Workmanship, and Warranty Failures My experience building a new home with Pulte Homes has been extremely disappointing and deeply concerning for my family’s health and safety. Issues began almost immediately after closing, and many remain unresolved despite repeated warranty requests. Initial and Ongoing Mold Problems Shortly after moving in, I discovered a major leak above the furnace that caused severe mold growth. This problem clearly existed before closing, yet neither the construction manager nor warranty team addressed it. Despite visible mold, warranty personnel refused to conduct air quality or mold testing, relying solely on photographs to dismiss my concerns. I was forced to pay for testing myself to ensure my family’s safety. Since that time, I have experienced additional mold and mildew growth in my upstairs second bathroom. Pulte hired TSI Energy Solutions to assess the problem, but is now ignoring their recommendations. Instead, they find it “acceptable” for ductwork to continue producing condensation, which directly causes the mold problem to persist. Additional Construction and Warranty Issues • Plumbing Defects: Two of my three toilets began leaking in the past month. One was confirmed to be improperly set, raising serious concerns about the installation of the others. The warranty provider has not committed to proactively inspecting or fixing the remaining toilets. • Insulation and Air Sealing Deficiencies: Cold air drafts enter through electrical outlets, and walls have visible condensation — clear signs of poor insulation or air sealing. The warranty team dismisses these as “normal” without investigating or verifying code compliance. Misleading Marketing Claims Pulte promotes their homes as high-quality and energy efficient. My experience has been the opposite: repeated defects, lack of accountability, and disregard for professional recommendations, building standards, and homeowner health. For these reasons, I cannot recommend Pulte Homes to anyone. My case reflects not just isolated inconveniences, but a pattern of negligence that leaves homeowners with unresolved hazards and unnecessary repair costs.

  The entire process of purchasing a home with Pulte was pleasant. Both the sales consultant and the construction manager were wonderful.

  They're building a home for a family member..it is going up quickly...expecting to move in this month (Jan 2021)...been easy to work with...very popular new area..lots are selling at a brisk pace..
