helped my friend move into this place. one of the least moving friendly communities i’ve ever seen. no ramps, tiny elevators, tiny stairwells. make sure you consider how difficult it is to move into one of these buildings before you apply.
I’ve been living here since 2023 and I can’t wait for our lease to expire so that we leave this place. This is supposed to be a non-smoking community and people smoke freely everywhere. Outside and inside the building. Every single day, from morning to night, even during the night, there is a smell of weed and smoke in our unit. Both my husband and I do not smoke. When it doesn’t smell like weed, it smells like food that your neighbors cook. Also, be aware of neighbors who like to scream while playing video games at 2:00 am every night. This situation has been going on for many months and even though I have mentioned this to the management office and the lease manager, they have done nothing about it. With the amount of money that you would have to pay for rent to live here, I’m sure you can find a place in downtown Wheaton that abides by its policies. The one star is for the view we have from our balcony.

We’ve lived here for about a year, and since the new management (Red Tail Management) has taken over, the experience has become increasingly frustrating.
They continue to add more fees and now require additional renters insurance, yet the overall quality of the property does not reflect the rising costs. There are constant issues throughout the complex — I’ve personally been stuck in the elevator multiple times, and the package room is frequently out of service, which is incredibly inconvenient.
The amenities are also disappointing. The washers and dryers feel outdated and unreliable, which is unacceptable for what is marketed as a “luxury” property.
Cleanliness is a major concern. The hallways, especially in Tower 2 near the garage, are often dirty, and there have been repeated instances of dog waste being left in common areas, which is unacceptable. The carpets are stained and worn, and there is frequently an unpleasant odor in the hallways.
For the amount of rent and added fees being charged, this community falls far short of expectations. It’s frustrating to see prices go up while conditions decline.
That said, I do want to recognize the maintenance team — they are responsive, professional, and do a great job addressing issues quickly. Jason in particular has been excellent.
Unfortunately, despite the efforts of maintenance, the overall experience has not improved under the new management. My husband and I will not be renewing our lease and plan to move elsewhere. I would not recommend this property to anyone looking for a well-maintained or truly “luxury” living environment.
Air conditioning is only available for a few months out of the year. Unacceptable as we have weeks and weeks of transitional periods between seasons. If you love living in a sauna, enjoy!
Loved living here until recently… extra fees and charges are outrageous for the conditions you’re expected to live in. Maintenance has always been wonderful but with the new buy out of the building by now company Red Tail seems like a lot of things are looked past. Conditions all around are deteriorating. Not worth the price better places around.. common areas are flooded once gym fountain was left to drip and flood all entrance area all night and day … Mold everywhere and people leave dog poop and garbage outside their doors all the time.
