  We went to Clayton Homes of Effingham looking for our forever home, and the experience was absolutely fantastic! From the moment we walked in, the team made us feel welcome and truly listened to what we wanted. They were patient, knowledgeable, and never made us feel pressured. A huge thank you to Jeffery Wallace for going above and beyond for us. He walked us through every step of the process, answered all of our questions, and made what could have been overwhelming feel easy and exciting instead. You can tell he genuinely cares about helping families find the right home — not just making a sale. If you’re looking for your forever home, I highly recommend Clayton Homes of Effingham. Five stars all the way!

  I really don't know where to start, due to the fact there is so much to say! Cheri, sweet personable lady that will answer any questions you have even if she doesn't know the answer she's got an answer for you in minutes! Dan, very informative loves to answer questions no matter how redundant the question is. Sarah, well knowledged lady that has simple answers for the most extreme questions. For those that are looking for a place to find your " home sweet home" there's no other place I would suggest going! This team works well together, they communicate with each other, the mortgage company and most importantly....you. They have answers, love questions and are one in a million. Clayton homes of Effingham's team has made the finding our home sweet home a less stressful process! Thank you guys so much for everything.

  We had such a amazing Experience today at clayton homes. Cheri was amazing about asking questions that lead to finding 3 options within our budget and our wants. She also explained every cost and how each step of the process worked.

  Never in my life will I come back to or even think about Clayton homes! I bought a home with them thinking everything will be perfect, next thing you know when the house got set up we realized all the trimming if falling off the walls and the walls don’t even touch the ceiling. We asked them if they could fix stuff that needed repairs and all they did was move the trim up to and didn’t fix a single thing when there was huge gap from the ceiling to the wall! This is the most half ass work I’ve ever seen. I highly don’t recommend getting a home here. You will be very disappointed!

  My husband and I went over and looked at a few options and Sara Mayberry was so helpful so polite and was so positive on every aspect we truly appreciate her help and recommend her to anyone
