  Rented for over two years with my dog. They claim they have strict rules of testing dog poop for people who leave it but people leave their dog poop everytime. If you have a dog, walk with a flashlight. They also claim they have a “dog park” but it looks like a puppy playing round. It’s smaller than the apartment and their walls. Whole area is infested with squirrels that literally jump anywhere. Bunnies were nice tho. Maintenance is really quick at fixing and calling back but you might have to deal with a little attitude depending who you get and will leave damages while fixing without telling you. Other than that place is really expensive and will charge you immediately if you forget payment one time, so make sure you have autopay set up for your rent. Also if you live in the first floor make sure you watch out for mice they will sneak their way in the building and go under your door. They also can climb stairs so I guess maybe not just the 1st floor. The whole building also smells like weed mixed with whatever your neighbors are cooking. I believe they will have a an automated long message to this post to act like they care and they have people put fake reviews to keep their ratings up. So just trust your judgment and carefully read reviews which ones are real and not😊

  Kudos to Corinne Cifone at Fieldpointe of Schaumburg! The mail room in this establishment has been an ongoing challenge, and Corinne has ALWAYS come to help me whenever I cannot find a package. Every time I have experienced a problem, she has jumped right in and assisted me. Even the times when it could not be found, she did follow up along with her very best efforts to make sure that it was located. I can always count on her, whatever the situation, to figure it out until it is rectified.👍🏼👍🏼👍🏼

  TL;DR: You can find a better place to live. I lived here for a year, and I’ll start with the good: - The maintenance crew was very friendly and helpful. They did a great job keeping the campus looking nice. - The people living here were always friendly in my experience. The bad: - The front office was extremely disorganized. From not sending my lease on time (even after I had already paid move-in costs) to poor communication overall, the office staff consistently showed a lack of effort in engaging with tenants. Many times it seemed like engaging with them was an inconvenience to their lives. - The towing policy they implemented was predatory and unfair. They will tow a vehicle after the first mistake with no warning or reminder—just tow and go. They towed my girlfriend’s car on Christmas Eve, and the way they handled it was the reason I knew I wouldn’t be renewing my lease. It was an awful experience, and the front office had no remorse about us having to pay $240 to retrieve the car. The towing company they use is terrible and treats you like nothing more than a dollar sign. I only forgot to fill out a guest parking pass this one time, and it was an instant tow. Completely unreasonable. - The advertised rent price is nowhere near what you actually pay. My unit was listed at $1,620 a month, but after all the added fees, I paid close to $1,800 every month. You can absolutely find nicer places for that price. I will note, $45 of the extra fees was pet rent, but many places fees are lower than that. - My apartment building ALWAYS smelled like cigarettes and weed. My downstairs neighbors would smoke cigarettes almost every hour and I couldn't have my windows open because my unit would smell like smoke. The complex does nothing about it other than an email to tenants. - The in-unit laundry were terrible. If this is something you care about, their units suck. And the communal units cost $4 per load (wash and dry). That is, if they haven't increased the price. In short: Do yourself a favor, and find somewhere else to live unless this is your absolute last option. I’m very glad I moved out and no longer have to deal with this place.
