  Over the course of 8 months residing at Castle Creek in Bartlett, IL, I was compelled to engage two attorneys to safeguard myself against physical threats, harassment, stalking, racism, dog bites, and discrimination. My dog and I were assaulted and bitten, leading to a personal injury lawsuit. I possess two orders of protection. Although I am Polish, I was instructed to return to Mexico. My First Amendment rights, including my Freedom of Speech, were infringed upon. This situation is astonishing! It is undoubtedly the worst Homeowners Association (HOA) I have encountered. They permitted all of this to occur to a tenant and took no action to ensure my safety, instead prioritizing their own interests. An HOA member exhibited erratic and aggressive behavior towards me and subsequently contacted the police! I do not feel secure in this environment. There have been numerous incidents involving perilous situations and individuals. My dog was nearly killed. Issues such as speeding, littering, and dog waste abound. This is not a place where anyone would wish to reside, especially while paying HOA fees. The Google reviews accurately reflect the incompetence and discrimination present here.

  ABSOLUTELY BRUTAL, DO NOT CHOOSE THIS COMPANY. They took over my association this January they raised our association fees 40% and our yearly cost went down, for 100 houses they are charging $24,000 for 1 time a year administration fees. Now here is where it get worse, I paid my association fees Plus a $32 processing fees, it showed as payment paid in full, the next month I get a late fee plus my association was not paid, they kept my processing fee and said I had to pay again and SQUARE would have to refund me so I do it again and again it shows paid, then here we go again next month I get a demand letter, so once again I call up and I am told I can no longer pay online I have to wait for a specialist to call me it has now been three more weeks and I receive another letter. I still have not been able to speak to someone I still have not been able to make my payment this company is a complete joke. Do not hire them to do your Association. Again we are going on 3 months of trying to pay our association fee.

  Why anyone would use this company as their property management company is beyond me. They are absolutely horrible at responding or getting back to anyone! All their calls are routed to one customer service call center, and the representatives cannot tell you a single thing! All they can say is I see this is waiting for approval and someone will be getting back to you within 24-48 hours. That is complete B.S. I have been waiting for a phone call back or even an email (anything) at this point I would take the Pony Express, since November 2025 and have been calling continuously since 12/9/2026, and I don't think I have spoke to the same person twice. They always say they will submit your request as urgent and I will hear back from someone within 24-48 hours. This is garbage! Not true! I have asked to speak to a supervisor for the customer service department, and apparently there is no supervisor or manager running customer service. There is no way to transfer my call, no phone # they can give me and no direct e-mail address. It just a group of people, who barley speak English, running around apparently unsupervised, sounding like broken records! This company is highly unprofessional and I urge anyone who is thinking about Associa Chicago to manage their property to think again!!!

  UNETHICAL AND INCOMPETENT. Avoid this HOA property management company. I’ve been living in the same townhouse for 12 years, and the board recently switched to Associa Chicagoland. They are terrible—if you are a board member looking to hire a management company, please keep looking. You do not want to subject your residents to this level of mismanagement and unethical behavior. Many in our complex submitted autopay information, and Associa failed to charge the accounts—then they applied late fees and sent some people to a predatory collection agency! When you call Associa, you wait on hold for 20-30 minutes, and the person you finally speak with can only confirm your name and where you live. That’s all they know. So, if you want to know more than just your name or where you live, you’ll need to wait while they “elevate” your concern to a “specialist” who never returns your call. Again, please keep looking—for your residents' sake. YOU WILL REGRET HIRING HIS COMPANY!
