    Charged us for “damages” when we moved out which was $195. We tried settling it and was told we did not have to pay anything because not enough documentation was provided to prove such charges. So we were told the account was closed and we did not have to pay anything. Next thing I know I wake up with a collection on my credit report from Ashcroft for the same amount I tried paying from the beginning. We were given misinformation and now are at fault for it and now it’s affecting my credit score. I’ve reached out to Ashcroft multiple times and they have not replied to an email or gave a single phone call back regarding the situation. But they email you About everything else during your duration of living there for their convenience. DO NOT RECOMMEND

    Dealing with this property has been such a hassle. We lived there from November 2024 until December 2025. While living there over all wasn’t a terrible experience (besides paying a $234 amenity/hoa fee with no amenities. The club house was not done until a month before we moved out. Communication from the beginning was pretty bad. Having to reach out constantly before move in to get information that we needed. But now that we’ve moved out. It’s been nonexistent. We had a move out fee of $195 which I had no problem paying. We didn’t put down a security deposit so this was for damages that would normally be taken from security deposit. This is completely understandable. They use a third party company “jetty” to handle the fees and deposits. So when it came to paying the move out fee, I called the property and they told me to pay through our jetty account any fees we owed. I contacted Jetty because we were unable to pay through our login. We were having some troubles using the system so I emailed for help. They then responded that they were closing the case without payment because the property did not provide necessary documentation that they needed to charge us those fees. Again, I had no problem paying those fees, I was contacting them so they can be paid and this is what I got in return. I said okay, and I asked for clarification and had them reiterate the fact that I did not have to pay these fees and I will not be penalized for it because that I was more than willing. I also asked them if anything changed to contact me right away and I will pay them. I have emailed proof Of these responses and I saved those just in case. This was back in January 2026 a month after move out. here we are today with the collection of $195 on the three people whose names were on this lease. When we realize this happened we contacted the property right away and I emailed Jetty help desk right away as well. I have not gotten one Response from either anyone at Ashcroft or anyone on the jetty team. I have emailed, I have called and left several voicemails and I have even contacted the corporate office. I have gotten zero responses in regards to this matter. The main fact that we had no problem paying $195 and I would’ve never let something like this come into collections on my credit. This is beyond ridiculous, Beyond unprofessional and I could not un recommend them enough. All we wanted to do was get this mattered solved. I will not go in and settle the collection or it will be removed from my account because that would be taking responsibility that I did not try to pay it in the first place. And this is not the case. What would be the point of me waiting until something written into collection to pay? now my credit has gone down and it looks like I didn’t wanna take the possibility for my move out these this is completely irresponsible. We are currently looking for our next steps are to figuring this out because Cleary we are not going to get any help from any of the management team at Ashcroft. I do not recommend moving here.

    I had a horrible experience at my last rental home due to poor management personal and lack of care for concerns we had so after looking at a new place to rent we stopped by the office at Ashcroft in Oswego and spoke to Maranda she was super friendly and nice most importantly knowledgeable about everything that we spoke about or asked questions .. she actually followed through with us when she said she would showed us options of homes available and worked with us on our needs answered all our questions with patience we also had some good laughs about things you can tell she was being genuine also she has worked there for many years unlike other places we looked at where it was always someone new in the office also Nicole who I spoke with a few times was also great .. maranda is the best I appreciate all her help we got a rental home here set up and couldn’t be happier with our choice

    Do not move here. I will say the maintenance team is wonderful. But these house are very clearly put together very quickly and very cheap. Multiple doors in my house don’t close correctly and there’s a leak that is soaking the carpet in the closet that no one can figure out. And these people have the nerve to raise our rent $200 dollars for the renewal.

    Do NOT move here. Trent and Diego are absolutely wonderful. But the management is horrible. Communication is lack luster and they do not care about their residents.
