I’ve lived in a lot of places, but this has easily been one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had with a property manager and leasing office.
First off, the professionalism here is basically nonexistent. The property managers are beyond rude—condescending, dismissive, and honestly just flat-out disrespectful. Any time I’ve tried to bring up a concern, I’ve been talked over, ignored, or made to feel like I’m the problem for expecting basic living standards. The leasing office staff follows the same pattern—unhelpful, unorganized, and clearly not interested in doing their jobs properly.
What makes it even worse is the way certain tenants are treated. It’s very noticeable that Black and brown residents are spoken to differently—more aggressively, less respectfully, and with a tone that feels discriminatory. It creates an uncomfortable and unfair living environment, and it’s something that absolutely needs to be addressed.
The building itself is just as bad. The front and side doors are constantly unlocked, which is a huge safety issue. Anyone can walk in at any time, and it doesn’t feel secure at all. On top of that, people are always smoking inside the building—hallways, stairwells, even near entrances. The smell lingers and management does nothing about it despite repeated complaints.
There’s also constant noise—yelling, arguing, and disturbances at all hours. It doesn’t matter if it’s early morning or late at night, there’s always something going on, and again, management doesn’t step in or enforce any kind of rules to maintain peace.
The neighborhood itself is pretty mixed, which could be a positive, but the way management handles things completely ruins any sense of community. Instead of fostering a respectful environment, they contribute to the tension with their behavior and lack of accountability.
Overall, this place feels neglected, poorly managed, and unfairly run. Between the rude staff, safety concerns, constant noise, and lack of respect for tenants, I would not recommend living here to anyone. Save yourself the stress and look elsewhere.

Alright friends, grab a coffee— because this one is gonna be a long one. All the positive reviews are from them offering pizza or treats for reviews so keep that in mind.
First, credit where it’s due: maintenance and the clubhouse staff have been wonderful. Responsive, professional, and genuinely kind. This review is specifically about the front leasing office and communication.
Back in January, I discussed this exact February weekend with the office ahead of time, including my vehicle situation. At move-in, I requested that my registered vehicle be switched from my GMC to my Tesla and was told it would be handled. I trusted that it had been updated.
Fast forward to Monday, February 16th. I returned from New Jersey at 10:30 p.m. (after office hours — they operate 10 a.m. to 6 p.m. and are closed on weekends). By the next morning… my car had been towed. When I reached out, I was informed that only the GMC was on file and the Tesla had never been updated in the system. The follow-up response was essentially “policy is policy.” I fully understand that policies must be enforced. What’s frustrating is that this situation stemmed from an update I had already requested and discussed in advance. Had I known it wasn’t processed, I would have secured the permanent pass immediately and avoided the entire situation. Instead, I relied on the guidance provided.
A couple additional notes for prospective residents:
• You’re given 10 days to report move-in concerns, but within the first 30 days I noticed paint peeling and cracks forming.
• At move-in, a photocopy of my Social Security card was requested — something I’ve never encountered at previous apartments.
This experience left a bad taste in my mouth. I would strongly advise future residents to double-confirm all updates in writing and verify they are reflected in the system as I had but again to no avail.
I would have given one star based on this experience alone — but maintenance and the clubhouse staff genuinely earn the extra star.
Policies matter but so does follow-through.

TLDR: Good location but nothing else is worth the price. Look elsewhere.
I lived here for just over three years with my husband and we wanted to like this apartment more than we did. The location is good but the day-to-day living experience doesn’t match the price or the “upscale” image that’s advertised.
Rent increased regularly, yet nothing improved in terms of amenities or maintenance when we lived there from 2022 to 2025. Communication from management is poor. The office often sends out mass emails about events that have already happened, which buries important messages in your inbox. Calls to the leasing office frequently go straight to voicemail, even during normal business hours. The only office staff we consistently found helpful was Samira.
Another frustration we had was HVAC system schedule for heating and cooling. You are forced to choose one or to shut it off. During months like April and October, when temperatures swing wildly, this is incredibly inconvenient to have the heat on when it is 70+ degrees outside.
Maintenance issues piled up as well. The parking lot had poor drainage, and some areas flooded when it rained. The laundry room in the basement of building 702 was unreliable. One washer was almost always broken and to make matters worse, dryer prices were increased with no noticeable improvement in the machines. The hallways are visibly run down, which clashes with the polished exterior and makes the “luxury living” feel more like a facade. The exhaust fan in the bathroom barely worked and we eventually got mold. The maintenance recommendation was to wipe it off.
The gym and clubhouse hours were another pain point. They were unpredictable and often changed, making it hard to plan workouts or use shared spaces consistently. This issue worsened when they started the clubhouse remodel mid-2025. We lost access to the gym with no alternatives offered for months.
That said, the location is the biggest redeeming quality. The apartment is within walking distance of great restaurants, grocery stores, and forest preserves, and it’s conveniently close to major highways.
Overall, you’re paying a premium for the location, but the management, maintenance, and amenities don’t justify the steadily rising rent.

So far, me and my partner have moved in less than 4 days ago so we shall see how the first year goes.
However, what I can positively say is everyone in the moving process has been sweet and super helpful/understanding! (We worked with Anna but everyone else we have talked with like Gia or Samria is lovely!) They try to make sure that you have everything settled in. Maintain things are fixed and in good condition. If ever in need of fixing, there is always someone to come in and try to fix like for example our balcony door had some minor problems and they set someone out very fast! I did not have to wait long like in my old place. Always happy to answer questions, no matter big or small.
Also VERY PET FRIENDLY!!! They will happily make things work about pets, just be upfront with them and they will try their best to be ok with any fur babies (maybe not like an elephant though lol dont bring in that). It is based on approval so that is important to remember! However, i still call it pet friendly because of how smooth sailing it was with my pet approval thus i still consider it pet friendly.
They do have amenities like pools and a updated gym area (I have yet to use them because pool is outside and currently, it is cold and snowy whereas gym no time yet). Also do events for the community, not sure how often they do them, but they do them and I am going to my first community event soon so I excited about that. They seem to try to make sure the community feels welcoming with stuff like that or their leasing office has pet treats if you are on a walk with your fur baby.
I will update this as time goes on.
