Everyone I interacted with during the process was kind and professional. The leasing agent, Brandon, was courteous, and the office assistant, Kathleen, was very responsive—I truly appreciate that. However, I do feel disappointed with part of the application process. The $85 application states that applicants can apply using an offer letter, but that was not accepted in my case. As a rehire with my company, I submitted my offer letter, documentation from my employee profile, and even corporate emails verifying my employment at Walgreens, where I hold a management position. Despite this, none of it was considered sufficient. Walgreens is a well-known national company, and I made every effort to provide legitimate proof. It’s disheartening that my application wasn’t given full consideration, especially when the home seemed perfect for me and my child—closer to my grandparents and ideal in every way. I understand that what’s meant for me won’t pass me by, but this experience left me more hurt than anything. I have stable income, pay my bills on time, and maintain credit scores above 650. My credit wasn’t even run because my employment couldn’t be verified, even after I submitted official documentation directly from the Walgreens system. I hope this feedback helps improve the process for others in similar situations. My search continues, and I remain hopeful that the right home for me and my kids will come along soon.

I have an 800+ FICO score and verifiable income, but they won't even schedule a showing if I didn't give them my Experian score - requiring me to make an Experian account just to see the place is insane. I can't imagine how much of a nightmare they'd be to deal with once you sign a lease. Re the owners reply: I am not in the habit of making accounts I don't need just to tour a property, and you need to make an Experian account to get your Experian score (which is a FICO 8 score btw), whereas 90% of credit cards just give you your FICO. If just FICO isn't good enough to prescreen that I'm not a deadbeat, you're insane.

Mikia and team are very organized and thorough in their operations. I've had horrible experiences with property management companies in the past, so I'm super blessed to be able to work with them! I wish they had offices in other states!

Wished I would have checked reviews before signing the a contract to service them. I own a licensed and insured landscaping company. Although we have never had problems during the warmer seasons, they gave us a headache during winter seasons. It was apart of the contract for us to subcontract work, I will admit the subcontractor failed to do their job of clearing snow in a timely manner which caused, who I assume to be the owner, to terminate the contract. Which is understandable but inexcusable to not send a payment of over $1000 for work that was proven to be done, then ignored. But before this particular snow event, was another in which we were not paid for. Apart of the contract is a 15 day late fee. We showed proof of the work being done and all locations cleared but we were told they didnt get an invoice, over time we sent the invoice 3 times via email and never got a response. Months has passed and they refuse to answer any calls all of a sudden. So reviews were correct, their communication is unprofessional. Owning a business requires having integrity and they failed to meet that standard.
