  Great management. Amenities are solid. Well built building (if you have every been a contractor you can tell this is a better built unit than many other in the area. Floors have solid subfloor so you don't hear your upstairs neighbors at all... walls are thick and well insulated so we never hear our neighbors). Well maintained. Has everything you look for (dog park... etc).

  I am surprised by some of the latest reviews on here. Our experience has been a diametric opposite of what they have said... so take a grain of salt with some of them. I'll speak from our own experience. We have been living here for several months... all with the new management. They have been incredible to deal with. Extremely flexible and patient. They have been very responsive to issues that we have had. Even when we felt like we needed to switch apartments mid lease they bent over backward to accommodate us. If there are any issues, if you communicate with either Samatha or Jeet they are incredibly kind and willing to hear you out and do everything they can to help. They make living here great. Management can make or break an apartment experience... they make it great. Accommodations are great. Not cheap stuff.. you can tell they really took time to make sure the amenities in the communal areas are quality and the space is worth spending time in. There are a ton of cool residents here who watch football together and hang together... a major plus. Apartments are beautiful and well maintained. They entry system works great and is easy to let friends in without having to shlep downstairs. WE GOT TWO FOBS WITH OUR APARTMENT **cough other reviews are wrong cough** and it's been super easy to live with. Maintenence crew is great. They are always working on the building keeping it up. Parking lot it safe and well maintained. Dark park is big... some of the dog park people find things to complain about... but Dog Park people are an interesting breed and nigh impossible to please... but for all I can tell Avant makes sure the building has doggy poop bags stocked everywhere and keeps the dog park clean even though dog owners like to leave a zillion dirty broken toys there. If you are a dog obsessive maybe you'll see it as imperfect... but as a normal person who happens to have a dog I think its great and our dog loves it and cries if we don't take him multiple times a day so evidently its not like others reviews have said.

  We have been living here for 3 years, things have gone downhill since the new management has started. The maintenance staff continues to be great and are quick to fix whatever you may need. The new management did some “upgrades” which made things worse. They layered sharp road gravel in the dog park on top of red sand. This has injured/sliced multiple dog paws. When this has been brought up by residents, they can’t seem to understand what the issue is. The dog park also turns dogs red which tracks into your apartment and stains everything (carpet, rugs, water bowls, the dogs face). They charge you for all of this and refuse to admit it’s from their dog park. The Brivo system is awful and you get 1 fob per unit. So if your phone is dead or the app isn’t working, you’re out of luck. The increase of rent is insane each year. Even if you don’t have a renovated unit, you’re still paying the same or more than renovated units. $100 a month for parking inside or $25 a year to park outside but good luck finding a spot at night. There are so many residents that have had black mold issues and they have been brushed under the rug. Don’t worry management said “Mold is everywhere” so black mold is healthy to live with right? They will say they value feedback but actions speak louder than words. I’m tired of the excuses from management on issues and the lack of privacy. Look somewhere else to live.

  Moving really sucks, but working with Sam at the Avant made my transition much easier, now a days with everything being on line, she helped guide me through the steps to get a beautiful new apartment, and has everything I have ever wanted in a place to live.

  Will from the maintenance team came to my apartment on Christmas Eve and instead of trying to play with the old dishwasher that was causing so many issues, he brought a new one and replaced it! He was friendly, efficient, and refused to let me help.
