  Paper thin walls, entitled neighbors, lousy management who did utterly nothing to upkeep the building for crazy amount of rent.

  This apartment complex is modern decline manifest. Truly the cheapest built "luxury" apartments around. I lived here a year and in that time my laminate floor peeled up in several places in the apartment, you could hear every conversation your neighbours had and what channel they watched on TV, and without exaggeration every month the complex's water had to be shut off for either a full day or several days in a week because they screwed up massively when building this complex and have been trying to fix it ever since to no avail. I also have heard of pest control problems if you live on the first floor. I've seen fixtures (like your shower head) being held up by cardboard, all the appliances are the cheapest whirlpool brand, and there is no overhead lighting at all in your apartment other than one set of lights in the kitchen area. Even with three floor lamps the apartment felt very dark as you don't get much natural light from the one sliding glass door. Also be prepared for the landlord special plastic slat blinds that will break if you ever try to open or close them on your *one* source of outside light in the apartment. Expect at least a 1200/year increase in rent every time you re-up your lease as well. What this place does do right are the shared amenities, the gym, pool, mail room, and lounge areas are very nice. No majour complaints about the staff either, the only thing they ran me around on was getting a referral bonus where I had pester them about several times until they gave it to me. ( the person who I referred also moved out because of the things above ) If you're still thinking of renting here, do not get a north facing apartment to the parking lot and abandoned movie theater, you'll hear a lot of car noise from people doing burnouts in the empty lot and the somewhat busy aptakisic road, and very busy Milwaukee. I also would not recommend you get a balcony with a pool view as I've heard from other renters that the sounds carry from the patio to your apartment rather easily. To be quite frank, you can make your money go a lot farther for somewhere nicer than here in the same general area.

  I have lived here since May, and have to say that if you own a dog, this is one of the best communities you could hope for! Great staff, very attentive to maintenance issues (which there have been very few). They have a fenced in area on top of the parking structure called the "Woof Top" where dogs can run around and play together. (If it were not for that, I might never have known how fast my dog is! ) Anyway it is a very clean and upscale community with great amenities and energy, close to a lot of good restaurants... I highly recommend (and my dog does too). : )
