  My husband and I have only been here for a couple months and we cannot be more happy. I'm telling you this place is worth the price. Never gave I felt cleaner water or felt as safe with a place as I do now. The staff here really do go above and beyond. There's a gym that's open 24/7. So when I can't sleep or I have a lot on my mind I'll just go to the gym for a few. The pool is open late spring to early fall so that's awesome! It's a really nice pool. The fireplace is awesome and everything is new so you can get that fresh start you've been seeking.

  I have lived at The Sanctuary of Lake Villa for three years and in that time I have found the office and maintenance staff to be highly responsive and very helpful. Lene and Mary in the leasing office have been a joy to interact with. The property is a quiet property as it is bordered by a wetland nature area and residential area. There is a fire station across Grand Avenue, so one will hear the occasional siren, but the property is a sits back from Grand so there’s not a lot of street noise. I also appreciate that the property is a no smoking indoors property. Sorry smokers, you are relegated to areas outside and away from the buildings. Noise inside the apartments isn’t bad either, I can only hear my upstairs neighbors when their kids yell, which isn’t often. And evenings are always quiet. The property is a nice place to call home.

  We rented this apartment for a full year and truly loved our time here. It’s a 2-bedroom, 1-bath apartment at a great price compared to similar options in the area. The absolute highlight was the view — it was beautiful and something we enjoyed every single day. The area is very quiet and peaceful, with a lovely neighborhood feel. Rooms are large and nice, while the kitchen is spacious and comfortable to use. Management was amazing — kind, helpful, and always responsive. Maintenance was available 24/7 and every request was handled quickly and professionally. Overall, this was a wonderful place to live, and we would absolutely recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-managed home.

  The sanctuary is one of the best kept updated apartment complex around in the Gurnee/ Grayslake/ lake villa area. What is great about it is how close it is to the train station and Gurnee mills. Most shopping needs are within 10 minutes. The staff are very kind and friendly (both mid-week and weekend) and easy to work with. Repairs get done in a timely manner. Grounds are kept neat and tidy. Pets are welcomed (at a reasonable cost). Clubhouse is nice, gym is usable. Pool is great well kept. Only negative thing I have is - that you have to pay additional for a garage space and better appliances (which is normal, but annoying) overall a very nice place to rent.

  The apartments are up to date and are of higher quality than most apartments. The grounds are beautiful. The pool, club house, and workout room are great amenities. The maintenance people are fantastic and quickly fixes any issues. The office personnel are responsive and friendly.
