  I lived here for 5 years. John was truly the best. Reliable, hardworking, and always friendly, John goes above and beyond to make sure everything is running smoothly. No matter how big or small the issue, he handled it quickly and with a smile. His professionalism and attention to detail made such a difference in our community, and we always knew we could count on him.

  I’ve been living in this building for about three years now, and while I’ve always admired John’s (Property Engineer) expertise, I felt compelled to share a review after his recent above and beyond service. Over time, the shower in my unit had become worn and John stepped in and completely transformed it, redoing the entire shower area with precision and care. The before and after pictures speak for themselves. The shower looks brand new. John’s skill, attention to detail, and dedication are second to none. Thank you again, John!

  Decent experience with a few negatives regarding building ownership / upper management. PROS: - Building upkeep and maintenance with John at the helm was nothing short of exceptional. He solved every issue promptly and diligently. This man deserves a raise as he appears to handle the whole building maintenance himself. - Cleanliness is well maintained by the building staff, never had any issues in the common areas. - Great proximity to the Lakeshore Trail, Redline, and other Lakeview East attractions. - Decent amenities, the gym is nice with a lot of modern equipment. If you have pets, the dog wash station and small walk seem nice. CONS: - Upper management / owners who control the pricing do not base their lease renewals on a realistic expectations, their initial offer for renewal was more than a 20% monthly increase. I heard similar complaints from other residents who also planned on moving out for that reason. Although they were willing to negotiate pricing as I had other comps in hand, due to the lagging response on a reasonable offer I chose to sign a comparable unit in the same vicinity for much cheaper price. - Skepticism on their Latch door lock system that is used to secure the entire building and apartment units. The 1st floor bike room is also secured with the same smart locks, and I had a wheel stolen from my bike while it was both locked to the rack and behind the “secure” bike room door. When I asked how the thief got into the room to take my wheel, the response was there was no smart lock activity registered and uncertainty on how the room was accessed. They also had video footage from the night of the theft that they refused to show me. There was a claim that a police report was filed but I wasn’t provided a case number or updates, honestly didn’t expect the police to do anything but I prefer some transparency. The only consolation offered was more security cameras were being added, which isn’t all that reassuring as it was already caught on camera. Overall the day to day staff was amazing and the location is unbeatable if you enjoy the Lakeview East area. A few instances soured my overall experience and upper management should review their pricing strategy.

  Loved living here the past 2 years! The building is basically brand new so we rarely had issues that required help from maintenance/building managers. That being said, the Viridian team was always quick to respond when we needed anything. John in particular was always nice to chat with and made maintenance visits enjoyable somehow. I will say we did get more noise complaints from our neighbors than we expected from a Boystown apartment. We even got one when we were just chatting in the hall with our neighbor in the middle of the day. Other than the touchy neighbors, no big complaints.
