  A very well staffed building, It's not just great looking, it's properly managed. That makes all of the difference. The staff is happy to help. I had a wonderful tour with the community manager Rachael she was so welcoming and knew everything and is clearly proud of her operation. She's very attentive and asks great questions and has answers! A building is nothing more than the people who occupy it and this is a great one for rentals

  The Elle Apartments is a great place to live in Chicago. The apartments are modern with high‑quality finishes and large windows with amazing city views. The building offers great amenities like a fitness center, coworking space, and outdoor areas. The location in the South Loop is very convenient, close to downtown, parks, and public transportation.

  Its unfortunate because the building itself is beautiful and has the potential for excellence, but under the current management of Waterton and their price gauging, and specifically a "manager" named Pierre, mediocrity is the absolute best they can strive for--and that is being generous. The staff in the office is arguably the most toxic group of professionals I have ever encountered, especially since Briana left. They will lie directly to your face without batting an eye. They don't answer emails so when you eventually go into the office they behave like mean girls ..its bizarre and gross because they're a bunch of old men behaving like high school bullies. If you're looking for Pierre, good luck. He is absent when there's work to be done, but a tyrant when it's time to be petty. He is a man void of integrity who is single-handedly running this property into the ground. He is a morally bankrupt, bitter old queen whose personal failures and unpredictable moods quickly become the tenants' problems. I genuinely don't know how he still has a job. He definitely shouldn't. I'm not even using my real name on this review BECAUSE I have seen first-hand how petty and intentionally damaging he can be. Waterton is a massive corporate machine that views tenants as ATM machines. They wait until after you move out to hit you with random fees. They charged me for a final month of utilities a month after i had already moved out without any notification or invoice, then immediately sent it to collections. The Result: My credit took 190 point nose dive for four months. Not a single person in that office helped or even attempted to explain the charges. I eventually had to pay just to save my financial future. Don't be a stupid person. Read these reviews. Go somewhere else.

  I am a neighbor at 801 South Wells. Our packages frequently get misdelivered here to 801 S Financial, and the front desk is confrontational/unhelpful. We also get their packages misdelivered here. I used to walk them over but don’t anymore cause the front desk here is so rude. If you live at the Elle and are missing packages, we don’t walk them over anymore because the front desk staff is rude to us.

  EDIT: After reaching out to Pierre directly I started to get replies from him and Styles quickly. They answered all my questions. Styles was very informative and kind in his replies. Leasing office is useless. They do not respond to any emails nor address any concerns. The other low rated reviews on this apt seem to be 100% accurate. Dont waste your money here. Look at Burnham Pointe. Much better.
