  When in your own apartment, the living experience is nice. Maintenance is SUPER responsive. Resident services and / or any person you may need to contact for lease support, signing, or help with future planning are incompetent. The building managers respond after months, if at all. They are not reliable, even when having an appointment. Having paperwork read, filed, and updated by their staff does not happen. I have had to go in 6+ times to remove someone from my lease, and 2 months later, they are still on. Frustrating.

  I’ve had a Very hard couple of weeks here, archane Was very condescending calling me honey and sweetie very unprofessional towards me about $18 on my billing That shouldn’t be there. I was Humiliated and belittled in front of people Over something that should’ve been fixed. She turned around to the receptionist and looked at her and told her “did she not hear what I said” When all she gave me was Harold is the only one I can speak to. even though he wasnt In the building, so I’m not sure if there’s any managers running presidental Towers because I wasn’t able to talk to a manager on site when I wanted to talk to somebody else, I’ve spoken to Harold on email who I reached out to numerous times every single day and has withhold corporate’s information for days even today I have reached out about corporate’s email and number. I was still charged the $18 that they are aware of that shouldn’t be on my account. It is Theft now And I was charged multiple times without me knowing. The only reason why I know about the $18 is because I caught it when they were trying to charge me last month For a billing that I apparently I never “paid”I also don’t get mail delivered here. I have to jump their hoops to get my mail delivered and still haven’t received any. I moved in January 15 It is now April 6th and I also Had to see roaches in my apartment the first day I moved in and had taken photos aswell That they are aware of it! I have to put in a ticket and do all of these steps to not have roaches in the home that I pay for And to be honest, it’s very overwhelming and it’s not something that I would do again.

  Always issues with this place whether it’s staff or the building itself, first night moving in had bugs in our unit. They just want your money, invest the time looking and don’t jump the gun on a place like this, not worth the money at all!

  Honestly, your doorman(black)—the one who wears glasses—has been very rude and doesn’t seem to know what he’s doing. I wanted to bring this to your attention. I’m going to file a complaint—this has been a nightmare. There’s no way I’m staying in this apartment.

  I toured Presidential Towers and it was a complete waste of time. We had a scheduled appointment and were treated like we were inconveniencing the leasing agent just by showing up. Maysoon had a nasty attitude from the moment we arrived. Constant dirty looks, short responses, and zero effort to actually sell the property. We had to repeatedly ask basic questions just to get information that should be part of any standard tour. It felt like she was doing us a personal favor by unlocking a door. The building itself has great views and a great layout, and honestly that was the only redeeming quality. Beyond that, the experience went downhill fast. Also, the gym isn’t included in the rent. If you want to use the gym they are partnered with, it costs an extra $150 per month. Parking is $300 per month. For those prices, you would expect professionalism and cleanliness. Instead, the elevator smelled like poop. Nice views cannot make up for rude staff, overpriced add ons, and a disappointing tour experience. There are much better options in Chicago that actually value potential residents.
