  I am writing to formally express serious concerns regarding my recent leasing experience. While I initially applied on March 24 and was impressed by the property’s ambiance and views, significant issues have arisen that reflect a lack of transparency and operational consistency. Most notably, the requirement to exclusively use Astound ISP was not disclosed during either of our tours. This is a critical omission. Had this restriction been clearly communicated upfront, we would not have proceeded with signing the lease. Full disclosure of such limitations is essential and should be standard practice. In addition, there has been a consistent failure to provide accurate and reliable information regarding internet services. Communication from both leasing staff and the ISP provider ASTOUND has been disorganized and contradictory. Despite repeated outreach and escalation, we have not received clear confirmation that the required service specifications—essential for my work—can be met. This has resulted in a significant and unnecessary investment of time and effort. While Michael, the Leasing Manager, has made a genuine effort to assist and remains the only individual demonstrating accountability, it is inappropriate for him to compensate for deficiencies elsewhere in the process. The lack of coordination, training, and clear communication among staff is evident and unacceptable. This experience has been extremely frustrating and falls well below reasonable expectations for professionalism and tenant support. Immediate improvements are needed in disclosure practices, staff training, and overall communication to prevent similar situations for future tenants. I am still waiting for any email confirmation from ASTOUND with my requested details for Internet service which will allow us to be hardwired with 1.5 gigs speed so we are able to work that remains reliable and compliant for the work we do. I only hope the next review I post will be positive....

  Michael the leasing manager was seriously great to work with. We went for a tour one day, spent all night talking about the unit and the amazing building amenities, and came back the next day for a second tour to confirm our love for the property. He was just was thorough and patient, answering all of our questions. He also gave great recommendations to enjoy lunch after we toured. I can’t wait to be a part of the North Harbor community, as it seems like they have welcomed us warmly already!

  Dannica from the leasing office is my goat she’s fr the best person to go to if you need help. I asked her so many questions about my move-in and she was very knowledgeable, friendly, and went the extra mile to make sure I was doing alright. Shoutout her

  Dannica is an absolutely amazing agent, when I first called North Harbor tower she spent over 40 minutes with me sharing things to keep in mind while making my move to Chicago and what to consider in any apartment building I look to live in. I had an equally great tour that was comprehensive. Just her customer service alone was a testament to what kind of management the company has, and for that reason alone made this building a major contender in my apartment decision making process.
