  DO NOT MOVE HERE — Management Is Dishonest and Exploitative I CANNOT stress this enough: do not move into this apartment. Over a year after I moved out, I was blindsided by a debt collection agency claiming I owed $250 — not for damages, not for unpaid rent, but because the management team had decided to revoke a concession they had originally given me when I signed my lease. This was a documented discount off the admin fee, applied and agreed upon at move-in. And now, a full year later, they claimed it was an “accounting error” and sent it to collections without ever notifying me first. I followed the lease terms and paid every bill, but because of their own internal mistake, they dumped the responsibility on me and risked damaging my credit. This kind of retroactive billing and total lack of accountability is unacceptable. It is a prime example of predatory property management. If you’re looking for stable housing and peace of mind, look elsewhere.

  I and my wife had the pleasure of calling Somerset Place Apartments our home for the past 9 months, and I couldn't have asked for a better living experience in Chicago. From the moment I stepped foot into this community, I knew I had found something special🔥 The location is unbeatable, with easy access to public transportation, grocery stores, and a wide array of dining options) The management team at Somerset Place is exceptional ❤️❤️They are always responsive, friendly, and professional, making sure that any concerns or maintenance requests are addressed promptly. The sense of security and comfort they provide is truly commendable, making living here worry-free🤗 The apartment itself is modern, well-maintained, and boasting all the amenities one could desire. The kitchen is well-equipped, making it a joy to cook and entertain guests👩🏼‍❤️‍💋‍👨🏽 Another notable aspect of Somerset Place is the sense of community it fosters. The residents are friendly and respectful, creating a welcoming atmosphere that makes you feel right at home🫶 Muchas gracias ✌️

  I've lived here for just over two years and can't complain! The rooftop in the summer is everything. In my time here, I've seen them switch out the furniture up there at least twice, and all the other shared amenity spaces, - including the hallways, laundry room, etc. - are kept exceptionally clean. I recommend the building to anyone looking in the Uptown area - the lobby is stunning and the gym is really nice. I do think there have been some areas for improvement over the past year, such as the intercom system breaking frequently - making it hard for guests and deliveries to arrive. I also wish they would wash the unit windows as I've never seen that done sine I've been here and the views of the lake would be perfect otherwise. Apart from that, this property is leaps and bounds better than others I've lived in during my time in Chicago. If you're looking for a studio in particular, you can't beat this property!

  I've been here for a couple years now and it has been a great place. The location is wonderful (near the el, 151, and the lake) and the staff are always on their game. There is limited parking, so it is best for those that do not have a car, but other than that it's a really good place to live!
