- LJLaTorshia JamesOct 17, 20244.0As first-time home builders, our experience with the company was incredibly positive. The communication, friendliness, and competency of the team were outstanding. We felt well taken care of throughout the process and have very few regrets. That said, there are a few areas for improvement. We wish there were more playgrounds spread throughout the community, as well as better overall cleanup. The HOA fees are higher than expected, especially compared to our previous subdivision, which had a clubhouse, pool, tennis courts, and many parks with lower fees. Additionally, we’re not fond of not having individual mailboxes. Despite these minor drawbacks, we do not regret our purchase and are happy with our new home.

I'll admit that I had some reservations given some reviews (most outside of Illinois), but I reminded myself that those willing to write reviews are most often those with bad experiences. I promised myself that I would share my story to help others make fair judgement. Our experience has been PHENOMENAL thus far. The sales team (Sue is THE best!), mortgage team, tech team, design team and everyone involved in this process have been knowledgeable, professional, responsive and just nice people! Yes the bidding process is competitive but so is the market. I'd prefer to go through the drama of bidding and getting exactly what we want, which we are! We are very happy with how seamless Pulte has made this process. They literally take care of everything. Just be sure to read documents closely and ask questions if you have them! This is my 3rd home purchase and I can assure you that everything I've experienced with Pulte is legit. We will be in our new home by the holidays!!!!
