  This complex is in a very dangerous neighborhood which was not disclosed to me during the touring process. There has been multiple shootings in the apartment complex just up the street and in the immediate vicinity. (Most recently in April 2026). Please avoid this area if safety is a top priority

  If I could give this place 0 stars I would. The management at first was so nice and easy to work with. Then Tiffany left Indigo (Formerly known as Hubbell) and it took a massive downturn. Maintenance requests were often ignored and marked as complete even though nothing was done. The paint that they use is very cheap and if you try using command strips it will peel the paint. Indigo will nickel and dime you on everything. The neighborhood it is in is in Oak Ridge and it is known as a bad neighborhood. When I moved out I asked for a walk through in person with them and they said they would do the walk through and to leave the keys in the unit. I had moved all stuff that needed to be thrown away out on the driveway and they moved it all back into the garage and charged a fee for disposal. They charged full painting even though it wasn't required. STAY AWAY FROM THIS PROPERTY

  I lived here for a few months. I cannot recommend this place unfortunately. The finishings are poor, the quality of the material is poor. There was a nail by the front door that cut my arm. When we moved out we requested a copy of what they deducted from the security deposit since we did not get the full amount back. We have reached out three times and have not heard back. Added: We had explicit instructions to leave the google fiber router in the home when we moved out. Google has now charged us over $200 because they did not return it. Nobody is answering our calls or our emails at Matildas.

  We just moved to Des Moines and absolutely love it here. We were looking for a place to live an the Matilda Townhomes have been nothing but amazing! They are brand new modern townhomes within walking distance to downtown. Management has been extremely helpful with all of our question.

  I had an amazing experience with Tiffany at Matilda 235. She showed me all the beautiful features these townhomes have to offer. Next year when I'm ready to rent, these are at the top of my list.
