  No parking for visitors/ family/ friends.... Crow tow will come in tow your car after 5pm if you aren't a resident... Called and spoke to leasing manager and she stated they don't even have visiting passes. If you're looking forward to visiting prepare to leave before 5pm. No warnings, nor any post posted around building regarding where visitors should park. These apartments have more residents then parking space available. Because these apartments are deemed as downtown location you'll be paying $200+ to get your vehicle back from Crow tow.

  Smells like weed 24x7. Parking sucks. Got my truck towed and I had the parking pass in the window. You can hear all the noise of traffic and neighbors moving around.

  Communication at VUE was absolutely atrocious. There was never anyone working in the office and if you tried to call/email about an issue, it would always take several days/attempts to reach someone. Multiple residents asked us if we also had hard times getting ahold of anyone so it’ll probably happen to you too. Apartments are cheap, the keyfabes would stop working constantly. Both to the apartment building and to the dog park. The dog park gate was broken for months and my guess is it still is. Dog park was poorly maintained. Parking situation was extremely poor. Absolutely nothing special about these apartments, and felt like once our lease was locked in, they didn’t care that we were living there. With so many new, higher quality apartments popping up around downtown Des Moines for roughly equivalent rents (and probably better amenities) I would save the time and look elsewhere.

  Vue apartments has been a great new home away from home! The buildings are well maintained, there is a nice 24/7 gym available, and I love how close to downtown it is! This location is also great for students as it is very close to both DMACC and Mercy, as well as anyone in the medical field as there are multiple hospitals within a few miles from this location. I highly recommend this location to anyone looking to relocate to the Des Moines area!

  This apartment has been great so far! Management has been very responsive to any and all questions or concerns. Brand new apartments with all updated appliances. The community room and rooftop hangout are definitely a plus. Also super close distance to downtown restaurants and bars!
