    Such terrible customer service. I don't know how they are still in business! I called and left multiple messages for them to call and NO ONE calls back. They want their dues paid on time; well call back so we can update our mailing addresses!! Ridiculous.

    Hawaiiana did not warn about Sex offender on the board My family and I recently moved into a new-construction HOA community managed by Hawaiiana. Because the building was newly established, an HOA board had not yet been formed. When Hawaiiana opened nominations for the first board, several residents volunteered to be placed on the ballot, and some were ultimately elected. However, a significant concern arose when it became clear that a registered sex offender had been included on the ballot without any notification to homeowners. Considering that our HOA pays Hawaiiana over $100,000 annually for management services, it is reasonable to expect a basic level of screening--at minimum, a simple check of publicly available information such as the state sex offender registry. It is unacceptable that Hawaiiana allowed a registered sex offender to be placed on the ballot without informing the community. While full background checks may not be necessary, a quick review of the state's publicly accessible registry could have identified this issue and prevented it. At the very least, homeowners should have been notified that a candidate with this status was running for a position of authority within the association.

    Where do I start? Our former property manager, Moana hired her biz partner without disclosing the impropriety. They took our HOA for a 300k ride which resulted in a special assessment- DO NOT HIRE THESE PEOPLE!
