No 21 The Fairways
We’ve stayed here around 6-7 times in the past 3 years and always been okay but this time l was very disappointed.
If reception says you’re staying at 21 The Fairways give them the keys back and ask them to find you somewhere else.
The floor felt soft and rotten.
The window sills were rotten.
The fridge door was broken.
The fridge was leaking from underneath.
The button on the kettle damaged.
The curtains were dirty.
Unable to adjust temperature on both showers.
Mould in en suite shower.
Microwave timer didn’t work.
Springs coming through the mattress.
Needs a deep clean.
Went for a meal at the Propeller restaurant, for 10th wedding anniversary, not many people there but still waiting over 20 minutes for someone to take our drinks order. The food was very nice but they come over and asked if we were finished but I still eating then I was just about to order my wife a cocktail for our anniversary but they brought me the bill and asked how I’d like to pay basically saying can you leave. Disgusting customer service.
Definitely not an Exclusive lodge.

Archery was really a lot of fun. Naomi was a great instructor. Very patient and attentive, staying professional and very helpful throughout the session. Chloe and Philip were a great help too. Will certainly return for a second try.

Me and a few friends came to Tattershall Lakes the same weekend the 80’s weekend was on. I thought the atmosphere and the level of entertainment from the cover bands they had booked were brilliant everyone seemed to be enjoying the music and having a great time.
Accommodation was standard it did the job, there was the odd stain on the carpet but nothing to cry home about I had a comfortable night sleep everyday. The only real negative with the caravan was there was only one hand towel supplied for 2 bathrooms.
Every member of staffed I had spoke to seemed lovely and very welcoming.
The only thing I will say is I didn’t think there was a crazy amount of activities / recreational stuff on offer but that just might be as it doesn’t appeal to my age group.
Otherwise enjoyed the weekend

I don't think we'd stay here again to be honest. We went Monday to Monday (coming back on the Sunday). During the week there want a lot open on site and free things for kids to do was very limited. The outdoor poor was only open the Wednesday and weekend whilst we were there. The outdoor play area for kids is very small and there's not a lot on it. Entertainment was outside in a tent that got quite cold at night. We stayed in a luxury caravan (3 bed with decking). Upon arrival there was moss all over the decking and rubbish underneath the caravan. There was also a pile of bricks left on the decking. In the caravan there were stains on the front window netting and rust marks all over the radiators in the bathrooms. The boiler wasn't working correctly so it was constantly hot. Despite turning the heating off on the boiler and turning the temperature down on the thermostat, the temperature still stayed high. We came back from a day out to see the temperature as high as 26C and radiators on. The dustpan and brush were broken and the handle for the mop was snapped and held together with tape. We were nearly a mile walk from the facilities on site which put us off sometimes going out as the walk back was dark as the site is very poorly lit. The paid for activities are expensive and this put us off doing them. The entertainment team however were very good on site and tried their best. The Boyz (boyband) that were on were diabolical. The staff were also very friendly on security. When checking out we weren't asked how our stay was so I didn't mention it because I didn't want to make a scene. There was also a tree outside the caravan that was scraping on the roof every night keeping us awake.
I have added some photos of the caravan though on the review.

Lots to love about this place.
Main positives:
The staff...every single one were very friendly and helpful. They really made the holiday better.
The price. For what is included its a really good holiday destination.
The pool & entertainment area. Despite being mid week in April, we still found enough to do. Lovely surprise to find a sauna & steam room by the pool.
Dog friendly, pooches were allowed in so many areas including the circus tent which was really good for us and our elderly dog.
The aeroplanes! Must add that this is a negative if you have noise sensitive people or dogs, thankfully our dog is deaf. They are so loud, but also a great spectacle. Thankfully they weren't doing night training while we stayed.
The spitfire bar food was pretty good. The desserts were massive and definitely good value for money.
Negatives:
Not being able to walk around any lake as they all have lodges & caravans right on the shoreline. It made for very boring walks around the site.
No dog park. We weren't the only ones with a frustrated dog who couldn't safely run around off lead anywhere on site.
Tribeca lodge. The layout was good & decor was lovely, but some issues mean we wouldn't stay in one again. We messed up when researching, and on arrival found all tribeca lodges have a patio. Nice without a dog, but it meant there was no time in the lodge we could let our dog off lead if we wanted to sit outside. We will definitely pick a lodge with decking if we stayed again.
Inside, no instructions on the heating so we turned up on a hot day to find cool water & the heating on!
The pillows were dreadful, we would take our own next time.
The kitchen doesn't have much storage if you're staying for more than a few days though the fridge freezer was great.
Cleanliness & maintenance wasn't as good as it should be. Surfaces were clean, but things like the venetian blinds were falling apart, missing on one door, and filthy. The bathroom was clean, but the shower head needed sorting as the nozzles were clearly clogged with limescale as only a few were letting water through.
Overall we had a really good time & would stay here again.
