The accommodation was already disappointing — hot, stuffy, outdated, and genuinely uncomfortable. The beds were so bad that getting any proper rest was impossible. For the price, the condition of the place is shocking: old, poorly maintained, and clearly not suitable for a comfortable stay. But the worst part wasn’t even the accommodation. It was the customer service. When I raised my concerns, instead of helping, they became defensive and rude. The moment I challenged the poor service, they got angry and ended the call. No attempt to resolve anything, no professionalism, no respect. Just attitude and a hang‑up. Being told “it’s not standard” and that nothing can be done was already unacceptable — but being cut off for simply expecting basic customer care is beyond unprofessional. This experience has made it very clear they don’t value their customers, their accommodation is far below standard, and their staff can’t handle even the simplest complaint without reacting badly. I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone. Avoid it if you expect comfort, honesty, or even the slightest level of customer service.

We're camping here. To be frank it's quite dirty and extremely noisy. The loos are like old swimming pool ones. The same half empty bottle of water has been sitting next to the toilet bowl on the floor in one of the loos for the whole bank holiday weekend. It is clear the facilities are not being cleaned. The music, which is next door to the camping field goes on until 11. It's very loud. I can only assume it's security who drive round the field every so often in the night with a cranky diesel vehicle. It's very expensive for a field without any separation and no WiFi. The loos and showers are quite dirty because it's so busy. The beach is a long walk away from the camping field. There is a big push to sell holiday homes here. I'm afraid we won't be back. I expect the same reply that all other negative reviews have received. The opening times of the swimming pool, bar etc seems quite scant. Upon arrival we were not given our birthday pack that we had prepaid to receive. I'm very disappointed. The site used to be fantastic. We haven't visited for some years. Cleaning update: whilst cleaning does not appear to have taken place in any depth ( for example there's still toothpaste stains around the sinks etc. ) a cone has been placed in the middle of the loo/shower block saying it is closed for cleaning. It has currently been there for at least 14 hours

Excellent spot in front of beach. Site supplies a bistro over looking a small indoor pool, on site very expensive nisa shop and a range of accommodation. I had a campervan so used the camping area. Lovely view but catches all the wind. Basic/tired shower, toilets and outdoor dish washing area. The bus stop is turn right from the entrance and on the opposite side of road from Hogan's way junction. Nos. 14 & 18. Easier to take a bus as the streets of St ives are tight with few car parks. Its not a very pretty site and I understand that it's difficult to landscape a site in a dunes but planting according to the environment or raised beds would be an improvement.

Ants in caravan. Confetti still all over the place from previous guests. Old chewing gum sticking bed sheets together, bed sheets also ripped and torn with holes. Mattresses are extremely old and in desperate need of replacing, so uncomfortable. Pictures show these issues as well as screws coming theough the wall of the caravan and being left bare and cobwebs that have clearly been there a while. The facilities are not that good, not as much as you expect, food isn't great, everything is outdated and a bit of a let down to be honest. The mini golf they let us play free because the course is wrecked, big holes and cracks in the concrete making it very difficult to even play half of it. Tried to contact the resort to raise issues but with no response, I've written this review instead. Honestly, I'd never book this place again.

Absolutely brilliant. Loved this place. Fantastic location. The beach is stunning. Long beach with soft sand. Saw some stunning sunsets. Its got shops and supermarkets near by, there's Hayle just down the road with its estuary. There's the old ammunition factory, now a stunning nature reserve. Some fantastic views here over across to St Ives itself. Further along there's Godrevy Point with Mutton Cove just around the corner and if your lucky enough you will see around 25+ seals sunbathing the day away. As for our caravan and site... I can't say anything other than it was perfect. We loved our stay. We would definitely stay here again. Thankyou for a fantastic holiday. Andy & Amelia
