- JJJaneJun 16, 20261.0Dirty tricks. I had this note land through the letterbox of a house I am selling. When I called them a woman said 'yes we have someone on our books whose house we have sold. We want to keep our client and your property is a match for what they are looking for'. She then asked me what my contract details were with my current (lovely) estate agent so that I could ditch them and they could 'do the deal' was how she explained it. Ditch my estate agents with no guarantee their client would even view my house - wth. What a dirty trick. She just explained that was 'how they do business'. I wonder what else they think is ok? Disgusted. What a shower.
