- SSSophieJul 9, 20231.0Look at the photos to see what “professionally clean standard” looks like according to Knight Frank. Moving into your new £5k / month home should be such a wonderful moment. Instead, Knight Frank have denied our contractual right to move into a clean home and not a total horror show. External contractors falsely report “PROFESSIONALLY clean condition” when compiling their “check-in report”. When dealing with this, KF have provided long email delays, delaying dealing with any conversation about clean-up by over a week. Extremely vague replies, totally stalling. Total denial of responsibility because we had “viewed” the property (where these issues were hidden.) It’s listed as our contractual right to move into a clean home with clean soft furnishings and upholstery. Despite repeated requests, Knight Frank offered no advice on what happens when tenants see discrepancies in the check-in report, or recourse for disputes - red flag no. 3. Filthy floors, windows, carpets, and extensive water damage to paint which apparently won’t be seen to by Knight Frank or the Landlord so we can actually move in. We’re paying 5k / month for 2 weeks already, and have paid £30k upfront, for this “service.” Avoid this lettings agent for fair and legal treatment. Remedy this for this review to be taken down. Tenants: Avoid Knight Frank for your contractual rights to be honoured and your estate agent to make sure basic standards are upheld.
