  Inconsistency. Some staff are really nice. Some staff are grump and make me feel awkward to ask a question. I get its tiring doing customer service all day but the difference between some staff is really noticeable...

  I've used 4 other weworks in London. This is the first one where the monitors don't work and I can't get hot water. Also, half of the office chairs are unadjustable, the other half are adjustable but feels unstable. Some of the window blinds are broken as well It looks nice on the outside but I don't think it's maintained well.

  if you are a frequenter at various wework locations and are familiar with their strategy, the environment layout and the range of services the co-working platform offers, then this particular won't impress you much. only in London, I rented desks at 8 different wework locations, so I am professional who is well familiar with the differences between them. first, the Moorgate is one of the busiest and noisiest. it is hardly possible to find an unoccupied desk if you come about midday. also, the level of cacophony and people chatting in the communal spaces exceeds anything bearable. second, I found the male barista attitude almost insulting. I asked for a seasonal special (iced vanilla matcha) and he, with much irritation and as if showing his privilege, pointed to the steel tumblers and said that I have to bring a one of them filled with ice. he then refused to make matcha and asked his colleague to do so. I found that type of behaviour very displeasing - not only to me, but also to his female colleague. third, I noticed that about 5pm a group of people who 'worked' next to me, brought a Tesco bag full of alcoholic beverages. their behaviour was erratic, irritating & particularly unethical, as they showed no respect to the people who worked around. they frequently shouted, mixed cocktails with the beer & cider on tap. in some wework locations, alongside beer & cider a non-alcoholic version of kombucha is offered, but not in this one, which is too regrettable. the people who clean the space are on the opposite friendly and show much cordiality, plus the music selection was relatively satisfactory on the day I worked there - at least, it silenced the chatter of those 'wework clients' who came to just take the space and make clamour. hence 2 stars.
