  Their email clearly said that wifi was available across the park, absolute rubbish, no phone signal no WiFi no television and no hot water for the first day-night They know this,the lady on reception said log on to the camp WiFi at the bar and it will follow you back to the caravan !!! The "superior " caravan at best can only be described as tired and careworn It really is a depressing place to stay

  Superior caravan was far from superior, stained seating, dog hairs everywere, smelly kitchen sink, very dull lighting ,tv would not work as remote was broken ,no tv signal only 2 channels at best they came out 3 times to remote only to finish by tapeing up batteries in remote, no phone signal at all but its advertised as wifi across the whole site. Caravan extremely tired and old rusty radiators ,old bed mattress. Bar prices ridiculous 15 pounds for 1 pint and 1 glass of wine only went in once we paid less than that at seafront bars around the island. Bar was dated and very old fashioned. Staff are helpful about things they can sort but shrug shoulders when its something like wifi etc. The park is kept very clean and tidy shame the same cant be said for caravans needless to say will not be booking again.

  Lovely location with great views, just around a 15min drive to sandown and shanklin which is lovely sea fronts. The guest service was brilliant when we arrived we had booked a 3 bed chalet, unfortunately turns out I am not a chalet girl and also didnt think the bunk beds for my kids where suitable for my little ones, this is down to my own error as it did state it could have bunk beds. But when I explained my concerns they was so understanding and was able to accommodate my request and we got moved into a lovely caravan. This was the other side of the park away from the main stuff but it was no issue, quick drive over or a little walk in nice weather. Only issue is signal isnt great or the WiFi connection if needed. But not awful. We also had a small issue with some ants and the night time security in charge of guest services was fast at responding and sorting the issue. The entertainment for the kids was brilliant and always something to do. We did spend most our time away from the site but when we was on site it was lovely, would definitely recommend. The indoor pool has a cool slide and is warm, we used this a handle full of times and my little one loved it. Definitely check them out

  Arrived on site, Wifi wasnt working. Reported it to guest services. Was told they'd send someone round. Went back the next day, was told I needed to phone the internet company myself. I did. they told me it was an on site issue and needed site maintenance. Went back to guest services and the person who i'd dealt with was off, they hadn't left any notes so no one had a clue. Was told they'd send someone round. Rinse and repeat this for 7 full days. Everytime I went to guest services, they knew nothing about it. Everytime they told me someone would come round, no one came. I had work to do and explained this to them. they told me to call customer services. I did. They emailed the site. The site said they didnt get it and would send someone round. Other than that my daughter loved swimming and the kids disco, but the service was ridiculously poor.

  We stayed here a few weeks ago. We’d booked a value chalet but on arrival immediately requested to move - the chalet was not clean and not well-presented. It looks like the value chalet photos on the website have been edited. We had 2 children with us, one being a baby, and didn’t want the baby anywhere near the furniture or floor. We moved to a comfort caravan (at our expense) and were disappointed in this accommodation too. We’ve stayed in comfort caravans at other Away Resort parks and this was sub-par in comparison. The radiators had brown stains all over them, there were stains all over the sofa and the boiler frequently played up. We ate out at the Nab Bar and my 3-year-old son was given a hot dog in a mouldy bun. When we reported it they refunded his meal and felt that was adequate compensation. The outdoor pool was supposed to be open during our visit (one of the reasons we booked when we did), but it was closed the whole time we were there. Overall a really disappointing stay. The location was great but the accommodation and facilities really let it down. Won’t be visiting again.
