We are with octopus and unable to switch to our energy provider even though we had 1000£ balance as the previous tenant had outstanding balance 400£ in energy bill and 1000£ in their water bill. I have rented many properties but never had to deal with any outstanding when confronted they said there is no outstanding bills and they lied to us !!! The property also didn’t have hot water and they took 1 week to solve the issue. Please refrain taking any property from them and their services is extremely poor.
