Founded in 2006 by Helen Challis, Quay Holidays began with just five properties in Poole. Built on Helen’s background in residential property management and a hands-on, detail-driven approach, the business quickly grew through repeat guests and owner recommendations. Today, Quay Holidays is a proudly family-owned and independently run company, managing over 120 carefully selected holiday homes from Poole to Christchurch.
We stayed here to celebrate a weekend away for my Mum’s 60th & it truly did not disappoint. As soon as we walked in, we thought what a beautiful apartment (Vitamin Sea Apt 4) and the best location within minutes walking distance to bars & restaurants.
The outdoor balcony area makes the apartment in my opinion - stretching all the way across with such good quality furniture. Luckily we went during the most recent heatwave so this was thoroughly enjoyed!
The bedrooms are airy, spacious & modern with the bathrooms being super clean, as you would expect. The apartment is also fully “stocked” with all utensils, crockery & as a bonus, comes with Sonos speakers.
We had the best weekend celebrating the special occasion - would definitely recommend & stay again!

A very conveniently situated apartment for a visit to Poole. Close to Quay for boat trips, superb restaurants, cafes, an interesting museum and small supermarket. Make your own breakfast or pop round the corner to a couple of nice cafes
The apartment was very clean, comfortable, and well equipped and the staff at Quay Holidays very helpful and a pleasure to meet.
We didn't see any red squirrels on Brownsea Island so may have to return.

We stayed at 12a Guillemot House, 17 Norton way and Quay Holidays looked after us beautifully. Izzy was always super helpful, nothing was too much trouble and she had a good attention to detail. The apartment was light and airy, well equipped with a nautical theme. We loved the stunning harbour views overlooking Poole Yacht Club and Hamworthy Beach. The apartment overlooks a huge expanse of water so there is always something going on. You can watch people yacht racing, paddle boarding and Kite foiling from the balcony. The beach is just a few minutes walk away, great for families and there is a good choice of cycle trails along the harbour shore. We would love to return another year.

We had a lovely stay on Ballards Close in Poole. The rooms are large and spacious, and the sea views are spectacular from the sitting room with doors that open fully for a proper seaside experience.
My only tip would be to install black out blinds/curtains in the bedrooms like you have in the master bedroom.
Quay Holidays were brilliant and responded swiftly to any questions I had before arrival. Our dog, Chloe, loved the morning walks along the sea front as well.

We booked SunAhoy for a break in Poole, we have used this house for over 20 years as it's location on Baiter Park / Harbourside is very convenient for the Quayside, Park and Town centre..
The current owner recently appointed Quay Holidays to manage the property on their behalf and we found dealing with Quay very straightforward. The staff were friendly and informative with any enquiries being dealt with quickly and efficiently whilst key collection and return was straight forward.
We will continue to use this property in future.
How do I know what amenities and facilities each property offers?
When you’ve searched for a property and found one that looks as if it will suit your requirements, click on it. This will bring up a comprehensive specification sheet with location, description and a full list of amenities. Should there be anything of specific importance to you please don’t hesitate to check with our holiday lettings team.
What do I need to bring?
As Poole’s Premier Holiday Lettings Agent, we pride ourselves on our attention to detail. We offer comprehensively-furnished properties, fully prepared ready for your arrival. All linen and towels are provided, including complimentary beach towels, but we do expect them to be left in the property when you vacate!
How do I reserve a property?
Once you have found a property on our website which suits your requirements and the website indicates that it is available, you can either make your reservation following the online instructions or, if you prefer, you can call the Quay team on 0102-683333 to reserve your chosen property. Telephone lines are open 7 days a week until 10pm. Provisional reservations (subject to availability) may be made by telephoning the Quay team. These can be held for 24 hours only.
Can I bring my pet?
Most of our properties do not permit pets. There are however a small selection that will allow dogs, subject to a small charge to cover additional cleaning. Please look out for the ‘pet symbol’ indicating that pets are permitted – these are found on the individual property pages. Alternatively use the specific search function on the property search page.
Please note that consent is still required at the time of booking, and at no time is a pet allowed to remain in any property unsupervised.
How do I book, and when do you require payment?
Bookings can be made either directly through our online booking system, or by telephone to our lettings team on 0102-683333 We require cleared funds amounting to 25% of the total holiday cost at the time of booking, with the balance payable no less than 8 weeks prior to your holiday commencing. If your stay commences less than 8 weeks ahead of your booking date, the full amount is due immediately.
What if I need to cancel my holiday?
In the unfortunate event that you are forced to cancel your holiday, the 25% accommodation deposit is non-returnable. If the cancellation is within 8 weeks of the holiday commencement date the full accommodation cost remains due. We therefore recommend that you take out holiday cancellation insurance. This is available at low cost from a number of sources.
In the event of a cancellation we will endeavour to re-let the accommodation and, if successful, will return any recoverable monies less the 25% booking deposit which is non-refundable and an administration charge of £60 inc VAT.
What if I need to alter my booking?
If you need to change your dates, we will endeavour to help where we can, but any changes are only permitted with the written agreement of ourselves and / or the property owner.
Where bookings can be moved, we will charge an administration fee of £30 inc VAT.
