  The staff and customer service is some of the best we've experienced. Millie was super helpful at every stage and got us in for same-day viewings. Unfortunately, the third party they use, The Lettings Hub (TLH), was just awful. We rang them with a question about how to fill in the form for students on a research stipend, and were simply told to just fill out the form. They reported my post-tax income, taken from my bank statements, as my pre-tax income, which I only found out about thanks to Haart calling me. I emailed my payslips over to TLH and they replied directly to my email telling me my referencing had been completed. A week later, I get a call from Haart stating that my pay still hasn't been corrected and Haart ended up having to sort that out for me. TLH also called me to say that Haart requires us to have Tenants/Contents Insurance or prove savings and tried to sell me on their Insurance. Haart's website stated at the time that this was not needed (see attached image). When I asked what was needed in savings, TLH didn't know and kept trying to sell me their Insurance, so I had to call Haart myself to find out how much we needed. Despite TLH's apparent role as a referencing middleman, I had to make and take separate calls with TLH and Haart throughout the process. Haart was incredibly helpful and always kept us updated. The Lettings Hub was a genuinely awful service that constantly tried to sell us on extras. I hope I never have to deal with The Lettings Hub ever again.

  I recently used Haarts to sell my Mums house. I was really impressed with the process they followed. They recommended an open house and kept us fully informed throughout the process of securing a buyer. We did have a communication glitch towards the end of the process when emails and calls went unanswered, which was frustrating, but as soon as we escalated to Ben Witherford it was dealt with. I can’t praise Ben enough, he was excellent and his communication was outstanding.

  This is a terrible lettings agent - engage them as a landlord or as a tenant at your own peril. They left my tenants without heat in the winter (I had to arrange the emergency boiler service myself) and left us out of pocket on mismanaged expenses. My recommendation is to check the civil court judgment records against them, you'll see all you need to know there - totally incompetent, negligent and disgraceful.

  We chose to market our property with Haarts because of Ben. He offered such a high standard of customer care from the first point of contact and gave us really helpful advice through to completion. His help with the sale at the end of the process was invaluable. I am pleased that we chose Haarts and would recommend them to anyone thinking of selling their property. Thanks Ben, you were brilliant.

  Most 5-star reviews are fake, as agents often pressure tenants to leave them as soon as they sign a tenancy agreement. However, as soon as you need to contact them, they simply stop responding to emails and phone calls. I had to visit their office in person twice and contact the landlord directly, despite living in a "fully managed property".
