I rarely leave negative reviews, however I feel it is important to share my experience with Haart Earley, particularly regarding the handling of my tenancy and the communication throughout the process.
Initially, during discussions and viewings, I was given the impression by Chloe that the property would be properly prepared before move-in and that concerns raised would be addressed. Unfortunately, once I agreed to rent the property, the tone and approach changed considerably, and many of the reassurances previously discussed no longer seemed to apply. At times, I was made to feel as though the initial conversations had never happened.
The property itself was not handed over to the standard I had reasonably expected. Upon moving in, I encountered multiple issues including cleanliness concerns, heavy limescale and hygiene issues in the bathroom and kitchen areas, leftover items/furniture ( seems like Haart cannot differentiate a furnished property from a cluttered property ), maintenance concerns, and a general feeling that the property had not been properly prepared despite the reassurances provided by the agency representatives.
What I found particularly disappointing was the attitude and handling of concerns after move-in. At times, communication felt dismissive rather than supportive, which only added unnecessary stress during what should have been an exciting transition into a new home. The Property Management team often appeared more reactive than proactive, and I ultimately had to escalate the issues to the agency Director before meaningful action was taken. Once this was done, matters did begin to progress and certain issues were addressed.
However, the overall complaint process felt very defensive and focused more on protecting the agency’s position than genuinely resolving and validating the tenant’s experience.
I fully understand that older properties naturally come with wear and tear, and I was never expecting perfection. However, I do believe tenants should be able to move into a property that has been properly checked, cleaned, and reasonably prepared beforehand. The argument that a property was provided in a merely “habitable condition” does not align with what I would consider acceptable standards in 2026.
I hope this feedback is taken constructively to improve future tenant experiences.

I’ve had the pleasure of working with Beatrice Bejenaru as my Property Manager over the years, and she has been brilliant throughout. Always professional, responsive, patient, and genuinely supportive whenever any issues came up with the property or tenancy matters.
She made what can sometimes be a stressful process feel much easier, and her communication was consistently clear and proactive. Nothing ever felt like too much trouble.
A real credit to Haart, and thoroughly deserving of becoming a Senior Property Manager. Thank you again for all your help, Beatrice. Highly recommended.

I had a very positive experience living in the apartment in Reading managed by haart Lettings. The staff, especially David Brownbill and Beatrice Bejenaru were friendly and supportive,
They showed patience, understanding, and also provided helpful support during my property search process. Their professionalism and support made my tenancy experience smooth and pleasant.
I would happily recommend them to aspiring tenants looking for reliable letting agents.

Frequently Asked Questions About haart Lettings Agents Earley
What makes haart the right estate agent for me?
With haart, you'll have a local expert by your side, honest advice you can trust, and a team that genuinely cares about getting you the best result. And with smart marketing behind it all, we'll help you move forward with confidence.
What's the best way to get a valuation on my home?
You can book a free, no-obligation expert valuation via our webiste. Or, if you're just curious, try our instant online estimate for a quick idea of your home's value. Head to our website to get started.
Should I be present at viewings?
You don't need to be. Buyers often feel more at ease when viewing without the owner present. Your haart agent will handle viewings professionally and keep you updated every step of the way. Sell smart: think haart.
Can you help me stay compliant with new lettings laws?
Yes. We stay up to date with all legislation, including changes from the Renters' Reform Bill. From deposit protection to safety checks, we'll guide you through what's needed and handle compliance if you choose our fully managed service.
What's included in your fully managed landlord service?
We take care of everything, from finding tenants and collecting rent to organising repairs, inspections, renewals, and legal compliance. It's ideal if you want peace of mind and minimal involvement.
What's the difference between an instant and an expert valuation?
An instant valuation gives you a quick estimate based on data like postcode and property type. An expert valuation is more accurate - we visit your home in person and base our advice on its condition, layout, and local buyer demand.
Can I have more than one agent market my home?
You can, but it's not always the best move. Multiple listings can confuse buyers and dilute your marketing. We recommend a sole agency approach for a stronger launch and more focused results.
What industry bodies are haart associated with?
haart is proud to hold membership and accreditation with trusted industry bodies such as The Property Ombudsman, SAFEagent, ARLA Propertymark’s Client Money Protection scheme, and the CTSI-Approved Code Scheme. We also subscribe to the Trading Standards Primary Authority Services. These trusted affiliations demonstrate our ongoing commitment to professionalism, transparency and the highest standards in property services.
