    I applied here almost 2 months ago. I was charged an administrative fee of $235. I was told I would receive a refund check since I was not approved. The office said it would take 30 days and its been almost 60 days now. The office will not respond to me now. This place is a scam.

    Reposting because the artificial response to this unacceptable…there was still no mention or update about my refund! It’s been 6 months now! Again..DO NOT APPLY TO THIS PROPERTY! I REPEAT DO NOT APPLY TO THIS PROPERTY. I booked a tour and was shown the property by Tamia. I asked what were the qualifications and explained as I always do when I'm looking at potential properties that I had an eviction on my credit from 4 years ago. I asked was that an automatic denial and Tamia advised me that they don't solely focus on your credit and that other factors can be considered. I then asked if I am denied, what is the procedure for a refund of the admin fees. She stated 30 business days. I reluctantly applied due to me reading a review of another applicant who had yet to receive her refund. I was denied in October. The 30 business days was Dec. 8th. I waited a week after that before I contacted the office inquiring about the refund. I was transferred to Jessica the assistant manager and explained that it had been over the 30 days. At first she could not locate me which let me know that the refund had not even been processed. I asked if it could be expedited and she said no. I asked how long it would be and she said 2 weeks. We are now getting ready to go into April of 2026 and still no refund. I've been to the office several times where Jessica has said it's accounting and I don't know what's going on with accounting. "All she has to do is press a button to release it.' is what Jessica told me. She said she would include me on an email with her and the "accountant" so that I could get status updates. That never happened. She had me to write down my current address because she wanted to send it directly to me. Even repeated my new address to me each time I came to the office. (i was literally going to the office once or twice a month because they don't answer the phone or respond to emails.) The last time I came into the office, she then told me she mailed it to my old address, which was ok because I still have access through my previous landlord. That was last month. Still no check. No responses or updates to the emails I've sent to her directly. I tried to speak to Lynn the manager about this and when I told her about the issue, she abruptly stopped me and stated that Jessica does accounting and handles the finances and sent me to her office to discuss where once again, no real answers or resolution. Either something really shady is going on in there or someone is super incompetent because I KNOW it does not take 6 months to release a refund. I've been nice, never came in with an attitude, always respectful and understanding. I've been as patient as I can be. I did not want to do this but I'm at my wits end. I literally just left the office today in hopes of speaking with Jessica one last time in hopes of resolving this. I asked if Jessica was in, one person told me she was on a call. The other lady said she wasn't in and did not know when she was coming back. I've wasted time, money, and gas coming to this office because it is not close to me. I wrote this to give my honest opinion of my experience with The Junction at Vinings in hopes that they will do better with taking care of the people that did not get approved. We deserve to get our money back. 300.00 is not small to me no matter how much money I make.
