They have online maintenance but nobody reads. Office personnel is VERY disrespectful, NO CUSTOMER SERVICE background. Aside from filing maintenance problems and labeling it ASAP you still have to call the office..
Having lived at another new apartment building in historic Savannah, I have had zero issues here compared to where I came from. I’ve lived here six months, and some of my favorite things are how the public spaces are kept very clean, the leasing staff (Shayla and Jenill) are always a bright spot in the day, packages are very secure, and I haven’t had any maintenance issues (I have found the maintenance staff to be friendly). No complaints and glad I signed a lease here last year.

The Line is a gem! We watched the complex being built and have finally been able to live here. The location has direct access to the Historic District, the finishes are gorgeous, the staff is helpful and skilled, and most importantly for us the layout of the building and the community spaces encourages contact with other residents. And the icing on the cake is the top floor event room with a chef's kitchen and loads of places to sit both inside and out--with a 180 degree view of the city. It's been a win-win-win!

I would strongly caution anyone considering living here based on my recent experience. Our HVAC system stopped working early January and was not fully repaired until mid March. During that time, the system was either nonfunctional or not cooling properly, and our apartment reached up to 79* F for days on end. Despite multiple maintenance requests, emails, and calls, there were delays, minimal communication, and at one point our request was marked as “resolved” when nothing had actually been fixed. We had to repeatedly follow up and even go to the leasing office in person just to get updates. After all of this, management offered a $250 rent concession for over two months without a properly functioning HVAC system, which feels like a slap in the face given the duration or impact of the issue. I get maintenance issues can happen anywhere, but the way this situation was handled (especially for a critical system like HVAC) was extremely frustrating and concerning. I would not feel comfortable recommending this property to others, especially any young professional new to the city. This complex has made me feel uncomfortable and unsatisfied in my own “home”.

We are looking to sell our house and have started looking at apartments in the historic district. The Line is by far the nicest community downtown, and the pool and other amenities are exactly what we're looking for. We toured with Jenill and she was knowledgeable and friendly, and truly seemed to care about making sure we were taken care of. When we are ready to move The Line will be our future home!!
